S4: E6: New inventory and we are excited about this rare 2 door 1974 Land Rover Range Rover Classic. An early production Suffix C.
3.5L V8 engine, 4 speed manual, factory power steering. This is a matching numbers RRC that underwent a 2 year restoration with a Land Rover exert with over 40 years experience. Bare aluminum repaint, all brake, suspension, steering components were serviced or replaced with OEM parts. The LT95 transmission was fully serviced and seals replaced. The engine was overhauled, including ancillaries such the Zenith-Stromberg 175CD type carburetors. All new electrical system, all brand new period-correct interior work, including carpets, seats, headliner, etc.. This is a UK built example used by the British Embassy were it served for over 20 years, where it then found a private party.

OMG....i have the same car with same colour (sahara dust) in my garage (2 door RR 1979) as a project. Sitting in my garage for several years. Waiting for Restoration. Seiing it run makes me wanna work on it right Away!!!!!! 😍

Man oh man I just got back from the 4 x 4 track in Hollister...everybody had all the mods and lifts and locking diffs and could not believe my '91 rrc was hanging tough in it's STOCK configuration...my first time out ever rock crawling and we had a blast!
Beautiful car.You should have done a clip of a cold start using the crank handle,that's always fun to watch!

Instrument binnacle came from an Austin Allegro 😂😂 But still a cool, the Range Rover that is not the Allegro.

Not so. The Range Rover was produced from 1969, the Allegro from 1972.
A few discrepancies in the video. Thank you for displaying the early Rangie.

I like old Range Rovers, but my grandpa told me stories of towing old range rovers out of the mud with Lada Nivas back in the 70s and 80s... He said that they weren't that capable off road.
Finally some Americans who have some good knowledge of wha t the true Range Rover is....Except for the full aluminum body part... Great video!

Great car, just an fyi, fuel injection started in 1986 model November 1985 build date, and door handle should be black not body color, I have a 1986

Some where in the USA they should build that car with power steering head rest 3 litre Diesel turbo 6 cylinder and bigger like 8 cylinder,and also 4 doors.
Proper car: it has a hole in the front bumper for the starting handle!
