You don’t have to be Muslim to fast. It is good to fast on occasion. Fasting can give a better awareness of our own hunger cues. But more importantly, fasting reminds us of the struggles of people who experience hunger every day. Fasting can help us be more mindful and live with intention. While fasting, regular meal times and prep time can be used to pray and reflect. During Ramadan, we fast by not eating or drinking anything from the first prayer time (varies, but before sunrise) until the prayer after sunset. And it’s not just about abstaining from food and drink. We also do our best to refrain from acts such as argument, cursing, and intimate relations.

The way this is my 5th Ramadan daily with you is so amazing! I’m Christian and I’ve learnt so much about this holy month through your channel. It’s so beautiful. Thank you for continuing to bless us with this content. Ramadan Mubarak! I pray that God may grant you and your families all your heart desires.
