@@malekbekka9597 , you will figure it out! Little advice - I grew up in not so privileged part of eastern Europe. Always dreamed of racing go-karts but did not even have access to them. I would play Need for Speed on PC, watch rallies, and formula 1 on tv instead. When I was 13 I made a pledge to one of my best friends; I told him that one day I will move to a better country, get a Porsche and race them on closed courses. I told him that I have no idea how I am going to do that, and how long it will take... but I will figure it out, and ... so will you! Dream big and don't give up.

Kinda of my story. Lived on a corner on a cul de sac and the neighbor had a brand new 911T Targa. I would be watering my parents' lawn and the car would be making the turn and the engine would be downshifting. The most awesome sound I ever heard. That was 1968 and I was 11. Up to that time, my dream car was the Mustang Boss 302. Two years later, the movie Le Mans comes out. I remember getting a paper model of the 917 from the local Gulf gas station. I was hooked. As soon as I was 18, I marched myself into my local Porsche dealer and bought me a brand new 914 in 1975 (had gone to a technical high school and was working at Hughes Aircraft as an electronic technician since I was 17). The memories of me in the car when I first got the keys is etched in my memory like it was yesterday. I joined the local Porsche Owners Club (still in existence to this day) and would race the car at Riverside International Raceway and Ontario Motor Speedway. Otis Chandler, the publisher and owner of the Los Angeles Times, had bought a Steve McQueen 917 and would bring it to the track. Those were the glory days. In some ways, when I got the 914, it was more impressive than when I finally got my 911 (997) even though when you hit the throttle of the 997, that engine sound is awesome, different from the 1968 911, but still awesome. At Riverside, I had no fears and topped out the car at 135mph. With the 997, its top speed is 177mph, but could not go any faster than 145mph because the fear of crashing kept me from going faster, even though the car was 100 times more stable than the 914.

I think of it like this…my Porshe will never leave me or find a new lover…and we can fly!!!! 🚀🏎🔥🔥🔥 In my experience, you can find someone who hates your racing or who embraces your dreams because they have that same fire and passion and they totally,100% GET IT. I know which man id want. Sometimes we sacrifice our dreams for love and wake up an empty shell of ourselves, miserable and with our fire put out. I think about love. Does someone that is fine having that happen to you in love? I don’t think so. I know it’s sad and your heart may be broken. I know mine still is because I loved him with everything I had. At the same time, I’m at the track flying with my heart on fire and he’s already with someone else…didn’t love me so much after all. You give in and give all of it up and they still won’t be happy. Find your own happiness and then find someone that wants nothing but to see you on fire and living the dream (and do the same for her!). Let your lover be free to really live and you’ll find a love like nothing you’ve ever imagined possible. I’m not saying it’s not on 4 wheels like mine tho 😂🏎🔥🔥🔥 I’m sorry for your loss I hope in time you’ll find yourself in a place of peace and you’ll be happy in your car still 😉

Just seeing this today. Quite possibly the best short I've ever seen. The story telling is so subtle, clear, deep and well written. The brilliance in this is that I do not believe this to be a motor film at all. It is a film that expresses what we go through in life; the ups & downs, the sorrow of defeat, the agony of hardships, the struggle & perseverance to see something through, pure elation of victory - not of a race; but of a life full of passion. For a brief moment before the start of the race the protagonist was already the biggest winner. Cheers!

Wow, awesome! Just got goose bumps! These little details like the kid with the towel watching the TV, the face impression when the Porsche passing him on the race track, the face Impression when lying in the field with his girl. Just to remember his dreams and finally to live his initial dream. Love the cuts, the scenes.

when I was incredibly young. many years before I could drive. I remember seeing a horrific racing accident on TV and the first thing I thought even at that young age was. "That man had no respect for that machine". A car is a machine a cold emotionless machine. It is important to remember that and to remember that its power is to be respected. I never forgot that and my love for racing just kept growing.

Beautiful, beautiful film - brings so many memories ... of growing up in Sebring, of discovering Porsche and the sounds and passion. Bicycles, running, motorcycles, cars, ATVs, Combat Challenge all in the mix .... lighting a racing fire in my bones the will never be extinguished - and became the passion that wakes me from my sleep again and again, to turn that wheel, to celebrate the effort, enjoy the atmosphere and competition of family and friends - shining in the the battle and rejoicing in the victory of being in the game ...

This kid reminds me on myself. When I was a kid in the middle school I had a dream that I will work someday for Mercedes Benz as some kind of engineer. Some of my mentors tried to kick me down by insulting me almost every day. After the school I avoided that dream thinking that everyone would be like those idiots from the car mechanic workshop. Today I've finished 3 of 5 years of programming college and after the graduation... I will knock at the Mercedes doors asking for the chance to be the part of their team. Thanks for the motivation!
