It is their own abandonment and disbelief in the Mercy of Allah for themselves, and out of jealousy that Allah should choose who ever He wills for whatever He Wills over them The children of Adam, will make mistakes, sinful mistakes, but the grateful ones will be often returning to Allah, never giving up on His Mercy for them and for All, indeed we are reassured Allah is the best of all Judges, as only He has perfect knowledge

I was once lost and confused but Sheikh Imran with the permission of The Most High have opened up my eyes! Alhamdulillah. I must say, admitting I was wrong is not an easy thing. Cognitive dissonance is a real thing, so do not dismiss a different view than what you have learnt ur whole life and give it proper reflection and thought! By the way I was a Christian before I embraced Islam and I was invited by polite Muslims who never had such a language as ypurs. May Allah put light in your heart so that even though you have islam, you lack the skills and tact to call people to islam. The Quran tells us to invite people to islam with wisdom and kindly words. To the sister who asked question regarding how Sheikh came to the conclusion that the tashkil which states Isa is the knowledge of the Hour as false, it is important to remember not to take a verse in isolation. The whole verses of the Quran must be taken into account when researching a subject. Sheikh has explains this in details in his book 'Methodology for the Study of The Quran'. Similar to scientific method, you gather all the data pertaining to a subject to form a conclusion. Not bits and pieces of it. And primary data (witness/first person account of an events or experiments) supersede that of the secondary data (data relayed by third party). This methodology is taught by the Quran itself, through the verses regarding how mankind sail and travel through the seas and in the dark by following the stars and how the stars symbolically acted as a lamp. One star alone cannot provides guidance. It is through a constellation of stars that the sailors or travellers are able to deduce his location and finds direction. And these constellations are formed by connecting the dots represented by the stars.

But I think I you go to Mulana Mududi tafseer ,he understood this aya in totally different way,he did not mean return of nabi Isa(As) from this aya, he did believe in return of nabi Isa(as) but not from this aya.and the reason in my understanding is that it is same due to the word "ilm" they took this word and try to understand this aya instead of "Alam" ,same thing happen with Ameen Ihsan islahi (Ra), he also understood it wrong because of same word "ilm".

To help you Sheikh Imran, even in the new testament Jesus says only the father knows the hour. I forgot the backstory but Jesus was with his disciples and I think it was in the gospel of mathew when mathew asks Jesus when these things were going to happen (Jesus looked at the temple and said not a stone shall stand and proceeded to prophesy about the end times to come, coming of the antichrist.): Matthew 24:36 No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

As a bilingual, native Arabic and English speaker, I already know that the "kasr or fath' - tskeen or fath'" of the "e'in - alef" of this term, used in the verse, does indeed mean the same in Arabic, the earlier being an exaggeration of the latter, a form of exaggeration that Arabic linguists already stated more than a thousand year ago. I didn't have to overthink it, like ever. It's only problematic due to translations because it will always have inputs of translators' own understanding. For example, when I want a packaged delivered to my place, the courier will ask me "how do I know I've reached the right place?" and I will reply with "The sign is...". "Knowledge" and "sign" are basically addressing and answering form in such use, brothers. You cannot have Knowledge without signs. However, this specific Aya can never be used to prove the "return" of Eesa ibn Mariam in the end-times because it doesn't speak of a second coming and doesn't even place this event in a specific time near the "end", from our human-perspective at least. What is important for me personally is the dajjal, the anti-Christ, or in reality the anti-theist, whom I believe to be a normal human, not mystical at all. The mystical properties that Muslims (Followers of Moses, followers of Eesa and followers of Muhammad) imparted to the dajjal is from Satan's deception, it's a subversion of truth, and it's the reason they'll fall for him because they'll be looking for signs that don't exist in the first palce, he'll just be an anti-theist national leader who would be uniting the world over corruption of whatever rightful. May we never fall for work of the legion of Satan.

@34:10 timestamp of the above video lecture There was a sort of back and forth dispute that was apparent from some of these video lectures pertaining to the interpretation of the Āyah that; "he (Eesa ibn Maryam) is a sign of the hour" There is a Hadith that mentions the ten major signs pertaining to the commencing of the hour, one of those *ten major signs is ALLāh sending down Eesa ibn Maryam (from the second heaven) back down to the earth realm, so the interpretation that "he (Eesa ibn Maryam) is a sign of the hour" is correct, however, the interpretation that; "he (Eesa ibn Maryam) knows exactly when the hour will occur" then such an interpretation is false and over-exaggerated, because there is another Āyah that mentions; "Knowledge of the hour is with ALLāh (exclusively)." Meaning, only ALLāh knows when exactly the final hour (to commence the convulsion of the earth realm and everything in it, into a reddish flat plain, like a piece of bread) will occur. *The Hadith that mentions the ten major signs (together in one narration), Eesa ibn Maryam is mentioned as the fifth of the ten major signs.

Sheikh, ''he is the knowledge of the hour'' clearly means he is an indication of the hour. When he appears, you KNOW the hour is near. This is a matter of language. I have never seen a contradiction or different understanding in this verse. The verse doesn't say 'he HAS the knowledge of the hour''. It says he IS the knowledge of the hour (you can use ''sign'' and still have the same meaning).

Gosh we were taught this that someone was put in place of Jesus a.s! it was explained with such detail that not only is it hard to erase from memory but to now accept anything different from this explanation can become difficult especially for those who are not comfortable with change, even though this explanation makes absolute sense. The hardest part of growing up as a muslim was that we were not allowed to ask questions, so after a while I stopped thinking about the content and just registered the sound and regurgitated to keep the adults/listeners happy while I got busy thinking about other things. After a while you loose the habit and strength to think because all you are allowed to do is serve in life. Such a shame, such a disservice.

I feel very sensitive to 'Unfair' and 'Unjust' so I don't settle with what anyone tells me until I haven't found what I believe to be whats serve Justice and Fariness and that for me is Truth.

How do you explain that the very same Iqbal rejects belief in the advent of Imam al-Mahdi (in his Reconstruction Book)? I am waiting for your answer.

With utmost respect to sheikh imran, the sole sheikh can explain the strange times, Are there other verses that the companions recited differently? Common people like me with no knowledge about meaning or interpretation, Is our recitation of Quran then affected? Are the fath and kassr in the now available copies enough for our recitation of Quran?

This speaker is actually incorrect. There are various ways to recite the Quran that have all been recorded and transmitted from the sahaba. The most common style of recitation is called "hafs an assim" which is recited in the majority of the world and this is the type that he is saying has this error. There are also other styles that do have some of these variations. They are ALL equally valid. These various modes of recitation are well documented and known to the scholars in the field of Qira'at. Imran Hosein is doing a disservice to this beautiful Quranic science by mentioning it in passing, and going so far as to make it seem as if mistakes have been made. EVERY SINGLE QURAN has a sound chain of narration to the companions and before the vowel symbols were put in, the quran was transmitted and preserved in recitation. The vowel sounds (fatha, Duma, kasra or zabr zeer and pesh) only represent the sounds of the words. The sounds were preserved in full by a complete chain or sanad to Allah (swt). This man clearly knows nothing about this science or it's preservation. To suggest that there is inaccuracy in one of them, implies that there is no preservation at all. This is considered by some to be kufr. If you wish to know more about it, type "Jamal Abdinasir ilmfeed" into KZread. This man is a renowned teacher of Quran who has studied under the top Quran scholars in the world. He is an expert in this noble science and a trustworthy source who has been taught by a teacher who was taught by a teacher all the way to the prophet (pbuh). Imran Hosein is not of this calibre. Why go to a bricklayer for a medical condition when there are real doctors available. If you recite as the standard Quran is written to the best of your ability then InshaAllah it is accepted from you. I would advise getting a teacher to work on the rules of tajweed. But to be clear, there are no mistakes in any of the accepted Quran recitations. I pray Allah swt guides us all to the truth. Ameen.

sheikh how can we non arabic readers of the quran find a source that translates the quran as accurately as possible? while we learn fusha arabic to understand the quran ourselves.

Im also Mixed right now regarding the tashkeel... here is a question i found on the net that can also be wrong but here we go : How do we know that the Quran has been preserved? The earlier manuscripts did not have any dots or tashkeel signs. So letters would look the same and people wouldn't be able to distinguish between them. An example of this is matter is in 30:2 where the first word 'ghullibat' without tashkeel could also be ghalabat. This would then translate to the Romans have been defeated, or have been victorious respectively. the question is when the '' tashkeel '' happened was it during Khalifa Ottoman ? if so i believe the tashkeel were 100% preserved ? Raool's companions specially Ali bin Talib wont allow any mistakes in the Quran. Scholars and the people at that time were even highly educated in the Arabic language than us today. how Muhammad PBUH read the Quran they wrote it exactly- People pay attention and use your head when you listen to Imran. he says some truth but when he does mistakes he does it miserably. his lack of the Arabic language is a sign of missing knoweldge he should check his studies with Arabic speaking repsected scholars that are not following any political agendas

The 'Author' of the Al-Qur'ăn ensures that Only One book conforms to His identity. Surely A book is Universal throughout the Universe. Off course we have brothers across the Universe to assist in Correcting 'mistakes' if there is any. Al-Qur'ăn is trillions of years old. Thanks for the inquiries. 💖

@@legend5735 sorry bother , but this is not relevant. i speak arabic fluently and doing '' madda '' with a letter doesnt change its meaning at all . but fatha and kasra can twist the whole meaning completely. i still believe that the Sheikh does a mistake right there. he is still human - the Quran has been preserved through Rasoul's companion we should do a research next and know when and during which era the Quran had its Tashkeel.

@@_7.8.6 Correct. when he said that the Christians will rule over us in the end time. it contradicts what the Quran says where Abraham ( PBUH ) named us ( Jews / Christians / and the followers of Nabi Muhamad PBUH ) as Muslims. when Jesus is back he will be Muslim and his followers as well.- Allah Knows Best.

I believe you have not thought deeply enough about the meaning of the ayat it says, Jesus is 'the knowledge' of the hour this means he IS the knowledge, the indication of the hour. The question to ask is "who's knowledge?" He is 'the knowledge' for us, for the reciter, the listener, the reader of the Quran and the people who are present at the time to witness his return. The word علم with the kassra does not mean he possesses the knowledge of the hour, it means he *is 'the knowledge'. I hope this helps. As for the scholars of high caliber who you said missed this point, an explanation could be that it is because they are not perfect and Allah allows their imperfectness as a mercy to their followers so that people will see them as only human and not perfect; Allah makes it so that He alone has the status of absolute perfection which he shares with noone. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. First of all May Allah azza wa jal give hidayah for us. Here in my hometown, the intepretation of Holy Quran surah Az Zukhruf verse 61 based on The Ministry of Religion Affair is: اِنَّهٗ لَعِلْمٌ لِّلسَّاعَةِ لَا ا اتَّبِعُوْنِۗ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطٌۭ مُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ ٦١ "And indeed, he (Isa) is truly a sign of the coming of the Judgment Day. Therefore, do not doubt about it (Judgement Day) and follow Me. This is the straight path." By hearing the Sheikh, I do not know if " لَعِلْمٌ "had been intepreted as the knowledge. Last time I check shaheeh International, they had translate لَعِلْمٌ as knowledge. That was surprising me. It can be the mistaken of the intepretation rather than the tashkeel. Some translators of the Quran have been misintepreted it. There are many dialect and qiraah concerning the recitation of the Holy Quran. You can recite it Alhamdulillah or Alhumdulillah based on your dialect and accent, and you can recite it as Maryam (AS) or Miryam (AS) and Musa (AS) or Muse (AS). But we can not blame it to the tashkeel, otherwise this is about the misintepretation of the لَعِلْمٌ. Wallahu a'lam bisshowab.

assalaam alaikum warrahmatullah as sheikh you mentioned many times all the name those scholar of Islam who translation specific ayah use Translation "i am going to take you up," not use actual meaning which is "i am going to take your soul" word mean wafat, death, this word also been mention in several English translation of Quran and they don't care what they translate, and all the rest of the world is ok for this translation. once you explain, it will knock my head, and said be justice with Quran use same methodology what Allah gave us not what it in translation, once i saw a lecture of late {Dr Israr Ahmed} in his lecture he clear said, translation is not Quran. and people who read translate, and not think what Allah reveal you will not get what Quran said, it is only Allah word which will inspired you, not translation. jazzakallah

Aal-e-Imran 3:114 يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَيُسَٰرِعُونَ فِى ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and hasten to good deeds. We do not understand how some big scholars of ISLAM says that Jesus Christ ( PBUH) will not return for the second time, even a LKG in Islam muslim understand that Jesus ( pbuh) will descend as mentioned in the Quran and absolutely there is no doubt about it as even the size of a atom. @@SheikhImranHosein i see. I misunderstood your lecture. I thought Allah took and keep his soul just like an analogy of a sleeping person. But he is actually raised up as a whole. The soul was never taken away, so the process of death had never been initiated.

Can a verse ever be both muhkamah and mutashabih when the variant recitations give multiple meanings?

For example if the ه in the verse in Surah Zukhruf is referring to the Quran, then the meaning would be that the Quran is the knowledge of the hour. So this would now require interpretation as the language is not clear. And can the Quran contain knowledge of the hour as it is the word of Allah (swt) and the knowledge of the hour is only with Him?

There are only 2 kinds of verses in the Qur'an. There is no 3rd. kind.
