I've noticed that if a guy's going to have an exclusive relationship with a girl it comes naturally. Once you say you have feelings she immediately thinks you're afraid of losing her and/or you don't have many options; and then she loses all attraction. It's sad but true.

It's in our biology to "spread our seed" but if everyone were players, societies would fall apart. Commitment creates any structure at all to a family unit. Commitment isn't likely to function well in the modern world but in the past it had to exist to ensure stability and the overall health of a family unit and a society in general. Happened to me too. It was with a girl I really liked. What's interesting is she was always trying to get me to open up about my life but as soon as I expressed how I felt about her, she checked out. I'll never make that mistake again

I fully agree with you!! I „asked” a girl for a relationship after she had pressured me to tell her about how I feel about us. What I noticed was she slowly begun to lose respect for me and after a month she broke up with me.

The fact he’s willing to tell us about his past beta mistakes is alpha AF. Respect. 💯

I did these mistake as well, expressing my feelings & trying to lock her down, it did not end in a good way, but now I have learned my lessons, and will never ever repeat them again.

Okay, so what should I do? I'm looking for a long term relationship. I had one girl that was sort of my girlfriend, but no really. We kissed and hang out but that's pretty much it. That was like 2-3 years ago. I'm 19 now. So I'm still a virgin. I'm not in a hurry to lose my virginity. Preferably I would like to lose it with someone I love, so I don't regret it later in life.
