I own one and am buying 3 more to make large tile for my walk in shower entrance. They work AMAZING.

@@NebiaShower For those of us who need more room to open the shower door and step onto it, I think putting 2-4 down in a tile form will work to make a large pad.

What happens if my cat pees on it? Will it absorb the smell and the scent stay forever?

i have one and my dog peed on the corner. some of it got absorbed and i can't seem to get rid of it. i tried washing and cleaning the part using water and paper towels but the mark is still there. i also tried pouring hot water on the affected area, still had the mark but it does not stink. i just wish i can remove the mark.

You guys didn't discover this. I had this in Japan and Korea back in 2015. And that's buying it online, which means the product went to market earlier as it was already well-recognized by consumers.

Hi SC, we never claimed to invent this but we're sure glad we discovered the power of diatomaceous earth in creating an eco-friendly and naturally anti-microbial bath mat!

You do realize discover doesn’t always mean invented or found first, right? It just means they found out or realized this for themselves.

I am not happy with mine. After 6 months, it looks dirty - and stays dirty looking. Ready to toss it and go back to my machine washable mat, that is clean after washing.

So sorry to hear that! If your mat gets stained, we recommend adding a gentle detergent to water and using a soft cloth or sponge to remove it. You can also sand gently with 400 grit sandpaper for peskier stains. Please try that and let us know if it doesn't work!
