This is great. For me the feeling I got as a child might be the reason. First I would get fully involved and in my own space when I drew. I still have memories of childhood drawing. Secondly I received great approval from others. I don’t expect the latter as an adult. I’m not going to be showing pictures around. I guess it would be self-approval… Another feeling is trying to connect to the human endeavor of the past, maybe trying to understand how great drawings that I admire were done.
