Love this cocktail; thanks for enlightening us. I prefer Appleton Estate Rum in a lot of rum cocktails and this is no exception; but it's great with light rum too. Definitely one of my go-to rum cocktails now :)

That’s pretty tasty..used Plantation rum , Carpano Antica vermouth and Roses grenadine ( had that on hand but need to to change that methinks to the Liber based on your other video). Your description is spot on.. bright but deeper with the vermouth. Thanks

I realised I had everything to make this cocktail, and I figured I'd give it a shot. I used an Appleton Estate 8 Year Rum, and a local sweet vermouth by Esquimalt Wine Company, your grenadine recipe (best Grenadine I have had), and of course the Ango and Lime. I was surprised by the cola notes, it is sweet and tart, the Appleton kind of gives it a funk and combined with the grenadine a really cherry-like flavour. Really enjoying this one. Keep up the great work Anders!

Tried the cocktail and loved it! Great video. One suggestion - post the complete recipe at the end.

So I made it tonight and it is exactly as stated... slightly tropical but not quite. This is the most unique tasting drink I have ever had before. Familiar but different. I enjoyed it.

I just subscribed to your channel, and I’m addicted. I don’t know what is better, hearing the history behind the drinks or watching you make them. By far one of the best bartending channels on here. With that said, I don’t know if you take requests for drinks and I know you made two times of mojitos, but my fiancée wants me to make her a drink, and I can not find any recipes or anything. Would you be willing to make a lavender blueberry lemonade mojito? That’s a mouthful. I’ve been looking everywhere on google and KZread for a recipe as in depth as yours. Unfortunately, I haven’t found one. If you end up seeing this and doing it thank you. If not, keep making this great content!!

Thanks, Jeric! Can't say I've tried a lavender blueberry lemonade mojito (that's a mouthful), but I can definitely see all the flavors working together really well. I'd start by making a lavender blueberry syrup - then using lemons instead of limes in the classic mojito recipe. Might have to try this one myself now 🤔

Looks nice, easy to do. I have to buy sweet vermouth and make it.
