I like to think that the Evil Queen had a Fairy Godmother who put her in position to find her true love (who was the King).

@@KBZDASMR She would’ve become evil after the King’s death, because she felt her Fairy Godmother promised her a false reality, a brief snap of happiness, as she was forced to again live as a lonely woman.

If the Queen couldn't have a child, once Snow accends to the throne she'd have had the same status wealth, and honor of being Queen Mother. Just with the title Dowager Queen instead of Queen Mother. This would have been the case had Cathrine Parr lived long enough for Elizabeth I to ascend the throne .

It’s rather sad. Her father ensured that she would lose everyone she cared about. It seems as though he was ensuring she would die the way she did. By basically bewitching her (getting her addicted to the pleasure hearing how beautiful she was gave her) he made her remove her support system.

Can you please do a video on how Lady Tremaine tried to be a good stepmother to Cinderella in the Serena Valentino book Cold-Hearted? And how Anastasia and Drizella tried to be good stepsisters?

loved the ionce upon a time version of the ueen aka regina she wasnt bad just traumatized acting out her anger at her mom coraalso traumatized at her own abuse

That´s a great story. But it is solely based on the Disney Movie and the related novel. The original story however is a fairytale from Germany, way older than the Disney version, and definitely without any other witches than the Evil Queen, the queens father or anything else.

Thank you for uploading this video it was good to watch.

I'm not much of a fan of Serena Valentino's books cause it makes me question the canon, but I do love how this channel tries to explain it the best they can. At least this way I can save money on books I am interested in.

To me, her book is one big fanfic. She has a series of those about different Disney characters and those 3 sisters appear everywhere to influence the original well-written villains. Sometimes, she even includes the POV of the sisters where they trash the canon plot, characters' decisions and behaviour. It is hard to read it at times and not think of the book as an author's attempt to raise her own self-esteem. The 3 sisters are completely original and are not part of the Disney world. And yet, some ideas in Serena Valentino's books are interesting, I give her that.

The "evil" queen was original not the stepmother of Schneewittchen/Snow White but her birthmother. Allso the queen actually are the most beautiful woman in the land but her beauty is the one of the mature woman and not the beauty of a young girl like Snow white, wich the queen want. That´s why the queen in the orignal story ask the huntsman for the heart an liver of the princess, cause in ancient germanic folklore, eating parts of your "enemy" could give you some of the wictims characteristica.

And regarding the original fairytale: depending on the version the queen was made to dance herself to death in iron shoes. Original fairytales are dark….or at least German ones 😅
