So lovely to hear The Queen speak. She seems just so driven but also gentle. Thank you for sharing her humour and ways she tried to "Be in the World, not of the World". We will never truly know The Queen, but I like this memory of her thinking about people and how she might help and genuinely wanting to. Her Covid speech was truly moving. Just wish could have her still. I think we may have William to carry on her message.

Charles will be king in the interim. He’s waited his entire life to be king and that allows William and Kate to continue to have more time with their young family before Willian becomes king.

King Charles is carrying on her tradition of public service and doing it superbly well. As Prince of Wales his concerns around the environment, global warming, his support for a huge variety of cultural and faith communities and of course, his work for the Prince's Trust which has, literally, transformed the lives of hundreds of thousands of young people, have been extraordinary effective and important. The King is every bit as impressive, committed and dedicated as the late Queen.

In no sense is the King 'interim' - he is King and sovereign and doing a magnificent job in the tradition of his mother. The same kind of patronising 'interim' nonsense was spouted in 1901 when King Edward VII succeeded after the long reign of Queen Victoria. He wasn't true then and isn't now. King Charles brings a lifetime of service, knowledge and dedication to his role as head of state and head of nation which is why he doing so well. The King is not a fill-in between two reigns - it is possible, as King George VI showed in his fifteen year reign, to make a significant impact in a relatively short time.

Her wisdom from years past is still valid and still resonates. 😓

It’s amazing to see the life of a human being (a royal one) completely documented in photos, videos and sounds from birth till death.

i deeply grateful for the English education which makes me what i am today with a wider perspective of the world as a whole. In 1955, i had the first glimpse of her in the photography hunged above the blackboard. She was married in 1947 when i was borned in the month of April with the everlasting loyalty for her Queenship..."forever you remained!"
