The QK75N hides something special - REVIEW

Ғылым және технология

Qwertykeys has released the QK75N, a compact version of the tried and true QK75 keyboard. While this would usually be a minor release, Qwertykeys has almost completely revamped the design, as well as developing something very new that hides just under the keys.

One of the best keyboard channels out there. I only found out about it when Cheese Turbulence shouted it out in one of his videos. Both channels have the highest quality production and editing I have ever seen when it comes to keyboard content. It’s so peacefully comforting watching them!

It would be helpful to many if you could do a sound test of the QK75N using the CF plate.

I think Alexotos did his build foamless with a CF plate, if that helps.

5:52 this innovation was the main thing of this board I think, but overall looks just fine.

Wow that review is so detailed. Im looking to build a yellow mechanical keyboard and both this and the neo 65 have them in that colorway. And im into thocky or deep signature profile sounding board which can you recommend and what switches and plate should i use? Thank you

Great video, as always! I'm around 3 months into the hobby and still can't get why there's so much attention to the back of the keyboard. Yes, it looks cool, but do people stare at the bottom so much that it needs to be so pretty? The weight has a functional purpose to me and that's it. I only flip my boards when I need to open them. I'd rather prefer a cheaper board with potentially better quality of the top, side and internals rather than the "bells and whistles" at the bottom. I think too much of the RnD goes into those weights and plates at the bottom. Perhaps that's because most boards look the same at the top and they want to somehow differentiate?

Trying to find this info, but no review has it listed. Is the knob replaceable? Does it sit in a cutout, or is it sitting on top of the case and easily replaceable? From emailing QK, they said the knob is 17mm in diameter, so not sure if it can be replaced by aftermarket knobs or not

Mine has a screw in it. I haven't tried removing it, but considering they sell replacements I imagine you can remove and replace it

I want a thocky keyboard similar to the original QK75, any suggestions? If my ears serve me right, this QK75N sounds more on the clacky side of the spectrum. Am I right to say that? I wish I didn't miss the original QK75. I want a poppy thock.

I really wish QK would just do tadpole mount instead of these "dumb bell gaskets", but alas, gasket mount marketing is too strong

I wish they would just redo the QK75 or a QK75 2.0. I just dislike screens on Keyboards so much. Nobody needs that stuff. Finally we got rid of RGB and now we have little mini screens on every second board out there...
