The Qemists - We Are The Problem

The Qemists are, in many ways, something of a Qonundrum. They’re rock kids seduced by the dancefloor, dance kids equally happy playing live instruments or building tracks on the computer, drum & bass aficionados who believe their hurtling breakbeats sound best under big muscular metallic guitar riffs.
On paper, such a sound clash seems like a train wreck in the making. However, pumped as loud as your speakers will allow, or booming through the PA at one of their live shows, The Qemists make glorious sense. Their fearless genre-mashing has already garnered them a sizable following across the globe, scoring a previous number one album in Japan and playing to audiences of over half a million people in Poland.
Warrior Sound has seen the band grow from three to five members, but The Qemists also continue to broaden their sound by teaming up with a diverse range of artists, including Hacktivist on the brilliant up-tempo anthem Jungle. The album also features collaborations with Japanese metallers, Crossfaith, whose singer Kenta Koie features on Anger and UK grime MC Ghetts on No Respect.
Now a band of five brothers - Dan Arnold, Bruno Balanta, Liam Black, Leon Harris and Olly Simmons, The Qemists are a real live tour de force. Proof of this has been seen on recent tours with Korn and Enter Shikari, one off shows with the likes of Skindred, and stand-out festival performances at Download, Breakout and Butserfest.
The band are now primed and ready to unleash their latest album, Warrior Sound, which binds their respective influences & styles together naturally into one progressively cohesive and solid sound. In short, The Qemists have finally arrived.

Inmates of the invisible prison do not dispair because you are only captive for believing what you have been told by people who doesn't know any better. Redesign yourself and step up to voice out the feelings inside. The shame of the misery is not found by the one who fails but tied to the system that creates unnecessary hurdles which put the people that form the foundation in an never ending competition against eachother. There's an abundance of resources as well as a broad spectrum of knowledge and technology available to fullfill the needs of all but not enough for the greed of a few.

here come the lyrics (Thx me later ^^): Yeah, ah You feel so close but you’re so far away from me I loose no hope so I still want to set you free Climb so high now you can finally see What we have now is torn apart at the seams I mean no joke when I wrote what I spoke last You’ll see me shutting the door on my dark past You’ve come so far now you can finally see What we have now is torn apart at the seams And if you haven’t got there yet Just read between the lines The truth ain’t hard to find Inside your mind If we are the problem And we all oppose It’s like a prison You are not alone If we are the problem And we all oppose It’s like a prison But we know this as home It feels so far but it’s ever so close to me With just one word you could shape my reality Where we are now’s where we need to be What we have now’s torn apart at the seams I meant no joke when I spoke what I wrote last I’ll always say what I shouldn’t when I speak fast You tell me how it’s supposed to be What we have now’s torn apart at the seams And if you haven’t got there yet Just read between the lines The truth ain’t hard to find Inside your mind If we are the problem And we all oppose It’s like a prison But you are not alone If we are the problem And we all oppose It’s like a prison We know this as home You feel so close but you’re so far away from me I loose no hope so I still wanna set you free Climb so high now you can finally see What we have now’s torn apart at the seams Torn apart at the seams Torn apart at the seams Torn apart at the seams Torn apart at the seams And if you haven’t got there yet Just read between the lines The truth ain’t hard to find Inside your mind If we are the problem And we all oppose It’s like a prison But you are not alone If we are the problem And we all oppose It’s like a prison But we know this as home But we know this as home But we know this as home But we know this as home But we know this as home

Pendulum isn't that hard hitting though, except the later stuff, and they also fuse DnB with Rock and expanding out to different genres.
