Celldweller - End of an Empire

Purchase/Stream 'End of an Empire':
fanlink.to/eoe
Time, Love, Dreams and Death - all four chapters have been unveiled. Now begins the true End of an Empire.
After a year long production cycle, Celldweller has been slowly revealing bits and pieces of his third full length, studio artist album, which showcases a return to the more formative complex electronic and heavy metal elements that defined the unique hybrid that is Celldweller. Never one to rest on his laurels, Klayton raises the bar with a brand new level of production unheard of by most producers, fusing analog and digital to create something completely out of this world.
From tracks like “Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked)” which sound like something straight out of a neo-futuristic punk rock dive bar, to the soft and somber “Just Like You” that swells with acoustic guitars, modular synths and melodic vocals into an epic cinematic ballad. Every track brings something completely unique yet distinctly Celldweller to the table. Equal parts score and soundtrack to a science fiction movie that hasn’t been created yet, this album delivers an unparalleled experience that transports each listener to their own little world inhabited by all of the iconic characters presented throughout the chapter cycle leading up to the release of the final album.
Now sit down, buckle up, and welcome to the end.

Lyrics (corrected by Dmitri Leontev): At the edge of the hellfire It's the end of an empire In the line of the gunfire It's the end of an empire Again, again, again It's the end of an empire A start, an end, a rise and fall No system eternal and no one immortal Creation all must end in destruction We cannot change the fate of civilization Start, end We build up the symbols of power Rise, fall Constructs of a mortal mind Life span Conquer in our brightest hour Mortal But then we all must fall in time Through space and time We can't escape this paradigm At the edge of the hellfire It's the end of an empire In the line of the gunfire It's the end of an empire Again, again It's the end of an empire Time, love Kingdoms, each of us reigning Dreams, death Over the realms of our hearts and minds Space, mind Conscious that death is awaiting Sea, pit But even death will end in time Through space and time We can't escape this paradigm At the edge of the hellfire It's the end of an empire In the line of the gunfire It's the end of an empire Again, again It's the end of an empire In the death of a desire It's the end of an empire At the close of a lifetime It's the end of an empire At the edge of the hellfire It's the end of an empire In the line of the gunfire It's the end of an empire Again, again, again, again It's the end of an empire Again It's the end of an empire We're falling into the unknown Another ending that's beginning to unfold We're falling into the unknown (it's the end) Another ending that's beginning to unfold It's the end of an empire We're falling into the unknown (it's the end) Another ending that's beginning to unfold It's the end We're falling into the unknown (it's the end) Another ending that's beginning to unfold It's the end of an empire It's the end of an empire

@@NickQuarfordTf are you talking about, Celldweller already “sold out” years ago doing Dead Rising 2, Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel and Need For Speed: Underground. And it’s not selling out, it’s gaining money and publicity for the use of your songs, selling out is when you sacrifice the soul of your band and in turn ruining your music, or going back on the true message of your music, Celldweller doing Cyberpunk 2077 wouldn’t have done that. Let me guess, you don’t like things that are popular and mainstream.

Thank you so much Klayton for creating this song, it is indeed the end of an empire. Although it’s kind of sad that this song reminds me of a game of mmorpg (like RF online) that I used to play with my friends a long time ago. Sadly, our game services didn’t properly reach their agreements with the server moderators and closed our favorite game. So we had to say our last goodbyes and close our game. But it was good to have an experience full of great memories and nostalgia.

Once upon a time, a sweet lovely woman named Wish Upon A Blackstar appeared. She was beautiful and graceful with sweet melodies that blended well and synths that could make a man drown in tears. Then before her appeared a gruff man named Celldweller (The Album). He was more rigged and based with drums and many riffs that felt sad and powerful, but he himself knew how to push through the pain and became great. They approached each other... fell in love... and had amazing wild sex. After nine months, this amazing child was born with both heavily well blended riffs and absolutely gorgeous synths. He was named... End of an Empire. Theeeeee end. ^^

I knew Klayton will continue to only get better. You cannot descibe the feeling I had when I heard his song playing in Planetarium in Warsaw, Poland during a space show on planetariums celeing screen. An artist I loved for over a decade making it out of first internet, than gaming, then tv, and then even into the sciences. Insane.

I'd be telling my child about Trent Reznor, if it weren't for my decision not to procreate. Klayton is definitely a worthy artist, but tbh, it's not fair to put him beside legends... On the other hand, who wants mainstream anyway? NIN blowing up the way it did was a glitch in the matrix. It's perfectly fine to remain in your own niche. IMO, achieving broad popularity is the path of misery and hardly does you any good, besides getting filthy rich and addicted to drugs.

+Gunter I disagree. The phrase can mean you are good at many different skills but someone who specializes in 1 skill will still be better. In general, the more skills you are able to perform, the fewer weaknesses you'll have. Just because you may not be the best in anything, doesn't mean you are worthless. Where others fail because the task is outside their comfort zone, you'll thrive.

Celldweller is back. With a bang! This new track incorporates all the things I love about his music and also brings new elements to the table! I love how progressive it is! It's 7:30 minutes long and yet when I listen to it, it does not feel that long at all. I also like how there are different acts: a beginning, an interlude and an ending - helps in telling the story. It is a bit repetitive with all the "It's an end of an empire" lines, but, honestly, that doesn't really bother me at all. Overall, a great start of what would most definitely end up being a great concept album! Can't wait for the rest of the Chapter to release! Klayton will always do what he feels is right with his music and I wouldn't have it any other way!
