But,I do agree it is pretty cool how Frontline does these interviews to go along with the actual fairytale I just watched.

I was a [moderate] Democrat for 40+ years until I woke up and started paying attention to politics/ started researching independently. What makes it difficult though, is that a lot of the information presented is true (or partially true). Having grown up mere minutes from the Russian compound in Centreville Maryland & knowing how many times we saw those Russians in the vicinity of Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant less than 15 minutes from their compound by boat & even less by their private helicopters or planes I KNOW they didn't accidentally get lucky choosing this site. Not when it was so close close to Calvert Cliffs, DC, Aberdeen Proving Grounds & not to mention what they saw right outside their own windows & more. IDK who was dumb enough to put a Nuclear Power Plant on the doorstep of our Nation's Capital or who was even more so to allow Russians to move in right after the Cold War but those of us who grew up there or still live there are grateful they were finally kicked out. It's terrifying knowing that Russian Spies KNOW where the Nuclear Power Plant is near our Nation's Capital & most of America doesn't even know it exists.

Is there a recommendation for a book about the most interesting or revolutionary CIA director? Trying to avoid military siege and nuclear arms race type of books... But more interested on the man and the thinking and strategy to guide the US and the CIA on matters of national intelligence. I guess in modern times, the idea is control of information and the use of misinformation online, I don't know how to describe this without getting into tin foil hat type of topics.

I don’t know about specific directors but “Legacy of Ashes” an overall history of the CIA up to the Iraq war is really good. There is a book on the Dulles brothers “Brothers” one Secretary of State and the other CIA Director is ok but rehashes a lot of the same info in less detail. There’s also an interesting documentary on William Colby (I think by his son?) “The Man Nobody New” cia director during the Ford Admin who was responsible for releasing “the family jewels” the information on illegal actions taken by the CIA during the Cold War and was basically the fall guy for the agency in the following congressional hearings coming so soon as it did after Watergate is pretty interesting.

Two quotes from James Clapper worth pointing out: Quote 1: “If you put that in context with everything else we knew the Russians were doing to interfere with the election, and just the historical practices of the Russians, who typically, almost genetically driven to co-opt, penetrate, gain favor, whatever, which is a typical Russian technique. So we were concerned." -Appearance on MSNBC, May 2017 Quote 2: “I said, 'Sure. When our interests converge, and they do occasionally, fine.' But as far as our being intimate allies, trusting buds with the Russians that is just not going to happen. It is in their genes to be opposed, diametrically opposed to the United States and to Western democracies." -Speech at the National Press Club of Australia, June 2017

A graduate of Selective Service or having a bad case of 'selective memory' !! Seem like every time he gets asked specifics Clapper can't remember a darn thing. Yet, if you (hold that thought) and let him answer certain other questions on his own suddenly, he's a rolling index of dates, time, facts, and figures. Anyone else pick pick up on that? Millions of dollars spent on cyber equipment that didn't do what it was supposed to do. Hmmm. Sounds to me like it's time to change tactics. All these government bigwhigs no one could seem to put the clamps down on Putin -- at least not in a meaningful way. In addition, Clapper mentions that it was odd that Putin didn't retaliate the way everyone was expecting him to. Yet, at the same time no concrete effort was made by our government to go / dig any further, or to pursue this line of investigation. Why.....WHY? It doesn't make any sense. If you knew and or felt that this was, 'just not like him' then (logically) why would you not investigate any further. Thirdly, I also find it interesting that for all the questions left unanswered by what Russia has done I find, it interesting that (seemingly) none of the government agencies ever seems to burrow deeper and perhaps low-ball their efforts and get ideas or strategies from a man-on-the-street perspective. In this regard the people that immediately come to mind are: Vladimir Pozner (political pundit and commentator), Masha Gessen (author, writer, lecturer) - someone who has had her own run-ins with Putin / Putin's government, Condoleeza Rice. Yes.....Condoleeza Rice. People have not only forgotten her but, have forgotten that she is was not only President Bush's former Nat'l Security Advisor, then later Sec'y of State. Although, Russia was not 'acting up' at that time and her skills were not needed. Condoleeza Rice is in fact a Russian expert; that's what her background was. My last person to suggest and this might be a stretch is Henry Kissinger. I can't remember if he is still more pro-Russian or not. He might also be a good person to consult with. He may be old, and frail yet, his mind is still just as sharp as ever. He's never been afraid to tell it like it is.

Based on everyone who they interviewed, my guess is she did not want to or disagreed. It’s not surprising considering the numerous documentaries put out by frontline on the bush administration

The animus toward Hillary came from Hillary’s reactions to Georgia massacres and the timing of Maidan. And McFaul’s interference activities in Russia. Putin may have been less retro had we got those right. Expansion of NATO did not help calm Russian nerves either. Nor did getting Crimea wrong and beating our chests about Donbass.

Any animus toward Hillary, is because Putin and the Russian inteligensia, know full well of her continual crimes and corruption (which has now been very well detailed/ and will be prosecuted hopefully), and her deep state ties to the Zionist International Central Banker domestic and foreign policy to destroy Russia and the West (and nation they can influence negatively through any means possible).

Putin hate expansion of NATO but in reality,he is the reason for expansion. NATO was formed over 80 years because of them,russia/ussr. Even now after Ukraine invasion, countrys who never tryed to join now all of a sudden they desperately want to join. Ironically. And Russia propaganda is NATO bad,NATO not good..... NATO has bigger muscles, that the problem.

Unfortunately, Hillary Rodham Clinton has no other instincts beyond serving herself, either. I find myself wondering why Clapper shows an obvious preference for her. They are both unfit to hold public office. For the People, the 2016 Presidential Election was very much a choice between the lesser of two evils. Although I could not bring myself to vote for him, she was a known quantity as a Presidential candidate. That being, one of the worst examples of a corrupt career politician. However, Biden in his stumbling and mumbling may have actually managed to exceed the Clinton’s level of corruption.

This indicates that she intended to abuse her position of power prior to even having been sworn into office.

One thing you see a great deal of when watching senate hearings, news shows, CNN, MSNBC, etc. is a huge amount of shirts and ties. Don Jr.stands out as having a real specific tie look. Richard Painter could use some new ones, but they do reflect his honesty somehow. But Clapper consistently wears the best ties. Jim, where do you get them?
