The reset button was so stupid. How did we not have one person in the Whitehouse or state department that could have said this will make us look childish. It didn't look humorous like he says. I hope we continue to look into all that happened in the last three weeks of the election. The shock for me is remembering that there was a President of the United States who hid behind the idea of patriotism, but who’s weakness of character allowed for him to be taken advantage of, and played right into the hands of the Russian FSB and Putin. Sad…

@@aaronbisignani588 What did he see correctly? He quickly came to agree with Obama that leaving Ukraine defenseless would keep Russia from making any further moves. This even as Moscow was aiding as best it could the Russian separatists in the Donbas. So when Biden came into office, the guy who told Ukrainians to do nothing as it was being surreptitiously taking overe Crimea, Moscow jumped at the opportunity to swallow all of Ukraine expecting Biden would once again refuse to arm Ukraine. It was only the Ukrainian relentlessness and skill at doing much with little that forced Biden to finally come to Ukraine's rescue. Jake Sullivan is an example of the feeble minded folk in the Obama-Biden administrations - he says they were at a complete loss of how to react to the furtive way Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 because it was different from past invasions in history., Fact is, it wasn't. In Vietnam and Korea the Northern communists also kept claiming they have nothing to do with the insurgency in the south. Surely Putin has some human qualities other than paranoia, craftiness, sneakiness, greed, egomania, and lack of empathy. He is loyal, determined, intelligent, and, in his own mind, wise. How can he be brought to the idea that trusting someone, listening to someone, other than those who fear him and will say whatever he wants them to say, is an important part of leadership? How can we deal with his need to own everything and be in charge of everything? Where are those in Government who are able to talk to Putin so that he will eventually grasp that he cannot ever be the power that owns the world? Or do we just accept the fact that, like Hitler and Stalin, he is just too far gone and can never be brought to see?

Long live Putin! Long live Russia! Many countries in this rotten and stinking world should wish of having a president like Vladimir Putin. I had lost all confidence in politics until I began to follow President Putin's tough political games. If there is to be a brightening in the geopolitical sphere, there must be such charismatic politicians as Vladimir Putin. Politicians who respect other countries' traditions, ambitions and good intentions. Politicians who use common sense and goodwill instead of threats, reprisals and bullying! Vladimir Putin is a source of inspiration both brave and willing to compromise. He's virile. athletic, tireless, vigilant, verbal, intelligent, eloquent, healthy, inspiring, enthusiastic, human, he loves animals, cares for the weak in society, he is popular not only in his homeland but also in the rest of the world, he loves children and is concerned with preserving quality in everyday life. He never shows resentment and hatred towards anyone is sensible and caring. He ignores the material glitter and works without getting tired to improve the Russians' standard of living. But above all, he is a true patriot. He is a man that everyone can trust who would never abandon or betray his fellow human beings!

I bet you have similar admiration for Genghis Khan. T\\hat murderer of millions also had all those qualities you listed and was likewise tolerant toward those who kissed his feet. But woe to those he didn't like. The present genocidal maniac loves leveling entire cities to the ground with its inhabitants buried under the ruble of high rises. As for trust, a more deceitful man you will not find on the international stage. The man kept assuring everyone that he would never touch Ukraine including in the moment when his planes were bombing Ukraine. You sure know how to pick your heroes.
