You’re doing a great thing, man, telling it like it is. I hope some young dudes who are ripe to fall prey to serious temptation listen to these videos. They might knock some real world sense into them. In my language as a recovering drug addict you’re doing some serious amends here, man! I’m damned proud of you, and I don’t even know you. Keep going, man, just keep going! Yeah.

Thank you, Dan! Prison is a brutal place. Young guys, some family members of mine included, think they would do just fine in prison. They just don't have a clue. The reality of it doesn't quite hit you until you see something or experience something that will never leave you. That man was permanently disfigured and almost killed because he called someone a punk. There's nothing cool about being a tough guy. I never want to be in that environment again. Thank you for your support, man. I'm glad you're in recovery. That's huge. It's big step and a lifestyle some people never choose to make. Good on ya!

No…I did 28 years in there, been out for five years…and I’ve experienced worst things out here. Hey Chile South America, all men feel pain, it’s not how you fall, or why, it’s that you get back up again. Stand when it feels there’s no reason too, believe in yourself when no one else does, never forget that you were created to be in this time, the real answers are beyond our comprehension.

@@EricSwanson1 I very much did. I'm grateful I never had to go to prison. I can't imagine seeing some horrible shit like that and then feeling safe enough to sleep. I've been getting back into music. I compose and play a bunch of instruments, but unfortunately a pesky drug habit relieved me of my equipment a while back. Just starting to build it back (better? lol) now that I'm healthy again. If you'd ever like to collab, hmu at matznickscott@gmail.com. I have an iPad, acoustic guitar, and an 88-key midi controller/piano lol, but it does the trick. Amen to never too much plaid!

It was hard to sleep after that, but it was often hard to sleep in that place. The bunks are by the bars. Even if people slept with their heads away from the bars, there had been incidents where guys had attached knives to broom handles and stabbed guys through the bars. It was a pretty rough place.

I don't know how I found this channel but, I been following for a while. I'm sure it's good to get this stuff off your chest. If you have shown ONE thing, it's accountability for your own life. I can appreciate that. On another note, how's your music going? I am a guitar player and musician, myself. I noticed your instruments. I have been a part of the "KZread Guitar Community" for quite a while, and it's hard to find good people to collaborate with, musically. So, if you ever feel like writing some music, let me know. I have had a idea for a while about doing a Livestream where, anyone can pop in and collaborate with whoever else is in the stream.

For sure, man. In a way, this channel is therapeutic for me. I am not perfect by far, but I always try to own up to my actions. Thank you for being a part of the channel. The music is going very good. I have a bunch of stuff ready to release, I just have to put together music videos. I'll get it done though. I would be very interested in a collab sometime. I have a few projects ongoing so I'm not always incredibly swift with my responses, but I really love making music with people. My email is in the about section of the channel, or you can check the description for my instagram account. It would be cool to put something together with you. Thank you for watching!

You didn't miss it. I'm still trying to get mats and a training partner. I don't want to make a video where I'm just talking about it. There are a lot of people who claim to know martial arts, or they puff themselves up to seem like something they're not. I don't want to come across like that. I want to find a good partner to do the video with so I can demonstrate what I know and what I don't know without giving any misleading impressions. Unfortunately, not a lot of people around where I live want to roll with me.
