Nac is good for all sorts of things

It helps exponentially if You sleep well, exercise, eat 3 healthy meals a day, cut sugar & unhealthy lipids.,

Can you comment on glutathione and IgG4 in terms of if we should take NAC based on the cancer findings?

I have a bottle of 600 mg it says to take 3 a day but after reading a lot of comments it recommends 2 a day so I take one in the morning and one in the evening with lots of water. They also said it takes around two weeks to kick in. I just started taking them. Hope that helps

What’s a good dosage? I’m taking 600mg before breakfast.

They say NAC is more beneficial with Glycine for absorption. But Glycine is not recommended for people with schizophrenia. I wonder why. Does NAC cancel out the potential risks of Glycine, due to NAC being beneficial for mental issues? Or should people with a risk of developing schizophrenia only take NAC without Glycine?

Would NAC be effective for me/cfs as an adjunct(& How it works to help)with supplements I already take along with provigil...also would taking GABA help for said illness to stay calm less anxious which is a chronic symptoms for me along with 30++ symptoms I get suffering from mecfs..TY for ur knowledge about helping sufferers(excuse my writing as I'm pretty fogged with lack of concentration at the moment)

It’s difficult to say. NAC can show benefits for cognition and perhaps some other aspects but not necessarily in the severe end of the spectrum. Hope you can discuss this with a medical professional as agents should be chosen based on severity and nature of symptoms

Refer to your doctor before you start on NAC as it's contraindicated for people who have high blood pressure.

Can u take if you're taking warfarin?

In general NAC can be coprescribed but cannot comment on individuals as this needs discussion with Doctor and or pharmacist. Is that dose correct? Fluoxetine 250 mg?? It's significantly beyond the maximum. Or is this sertraline?

@@PsychiatrySimplified Whoops! You're right, it says Sertraline 100mg tablets Generic for Zoloft. I take 250 mg. I was not asking for a friend 😔
