The Profile Z-Coaster - Everything You Need to Know

Спорт

Is this mysterious BMX hub worth the insane $358 price tag?
In this video we will explore pros & cons of the hub, in addition to how it works.
New shirts and stickers available now - LZBMX.com
As soon as the hub came out everyone wondered if I was going to ride it or not... I saw it as a pretty cool opportunity to try out something new and to make a review about. I really want to start doing more reviews, and this was perfect because there isn't any videos about this hub that aren't made by profile themselves. As with all my reviews, I try to touch on the positives and negatives instead of just addressing one side of the topic. I'm very happy with my hub thus far, but will you be? It's DEFINITELY expensive, whether it is worth it or not is up to you. As I said in the video, you're more than welcome to try out mine before you order one- just hopefully I'm in your area some time soon!
I tried using my new wide angle lens for this review. Not really the best use for it, but it was cool to switch things up. In case you were wondering, I was NOT paid by Profile for making this video. I would never make a commissioned review without specifically telling you guys in the video. Your trust means more than a few dollars to me any day.
Thanks for watching, I hope this helps clear some things up!

    Hey Adam do you think maybe one day you could make a video for the people that have just bought a bike for the first time, sort of explain the most important things to get comfortable with when riding parks and just riding in general. Sort of like a beginners guide to flowing a park and learning the early tricks etc.

    Question... Adam if you ride with headphones, Surely you wouldn't be able to hear when it's clicking or if it's in free coaster mode. To me that would put me off buying it, would rather just have a casset or a free coaster to know what's going to happen when I land?

    It's a different idea and hopefully some more ideas will come out of it. I'm the exact opposite with Profile though - I've had 4 rear hubs and they all broke and chewed themselves up in under 6 months to a year. I don't trust them anymore, especially since they are the most expensive on the market.

  • @kirstywaters6854

    @kirstywaters6854

    9 жыл бұрын

    All freecoasters have slack, it just depends what spacing is there as to how much. Slack is when you initially pedal and there is no immediate engagement transferred into movement. For some this can be very little, quarter of a crank or even a full crank.
