I like that Lillard disagrees a bit and says why it would be difficult to pull off in an NBA game and even showing the way he would go about doing the move, he actually cares.

Professor isn't from the streets! Professor might be from the trailer park but, not from "the streets". Professor traveled to black areas to play street ball with the likes of Lillard. And also, we need to stop praising "the streets/the hood" as if it's a badge of honor. Lillard was just a lucky lottery winner from "the streets" that was given the opportunity to make money by the wealthy non blacks of corporate America who invested/gambled in him as if they were at the horse track.

lol you make it sound like he's 80... There are tons of people 40+ that are still in great physical shape, and really, it's the very fact that he continues to work out and play basketball that is the reason his body is still "holding up." And at any rate, it isn't like he's been working concrete full-time for 25 years or something... he plays basketball and does trick moves. It's just not something that would normally cause some drastic significant wear and tear.

That's what dribbling pretty much is. First, get the handle, second get control of the handle, then afterwards you can study the defenders movements and body language and control how you want them to move. It's not easy but it's not impossible either. I don't have the best handles but I found that I made people fall with the most basic cross movements to get them off balance. Thats what Iverson used to do.

He should've just said he can't do it in an NBA game because he ain't got Iverson handles lol Iverson at 6'1 and not making excuses and making GOATS feel like they guarding a goat. Also, Dame makes it seem like nutmegs in basketball are a regular occurrence. Given the right opportunities, connections, and circumstances, the Professor would have a high chance to have made it pro, even If only for like 3-5 years. Just look at Dame's career, it's reflective of his constrained mentality. Always thinks ways why he can't perform certain moves in a game. It is possible, but only if you have sick handles like Iverson or the professor. He could've just said "I can't do it because I don't have handles as good as you, Iverson, or the White Chocolate. Lol Professor was dope even after Lilard acted with such arrogance.

It is nice to see the mutual respect between Dame and the professor. I am a Blazer fan bc of Dame and he is ma fv player from the moment he arrived to the league. Btw I have to admit that I always wished to see he playing in the same team with DeRozan (both in this channel recently). Anyway Blazers has a nice team this year (maybe they would need one or two big guys more but…). I hope you have a great season Dame!

Trae Young has the best chance of doing this move. He kinda does a version of it anyway. Like Dame said, it probably depends on the defender. I wouldn't see this working against guys like Jrue Holiday lol. The top defenders. But you might could get a guy like Pat McCaw or a rookie like that. I like that Dame showed how he would do it instead of just being like "that won't work." That shows good character on his part

@@zorro8027 You saying he's already done this against NBA players like I didn't say it might work on a guy like Pat McCaw or a rookie lol. Or that random dude nobody has heard of at the end of this video. McCaw was an NBA player. Has 3 rings off the bench. Matter of fact he three-peated. But saying it can work on some random NBA bench player in 1v1 and saying it can work in an actual NBA game is two different things. Dame isn't gonna be guarded by a Pat McCaw unless there's a switch. He's gonna be guarded by a 2 way dude like Jrue Holiday, Klay Thompson, Pat Beverley, etc. And I doubt he's using the Teleport move on one of those dudes. It would take the top ball handlers like Kyrie Irving or Trae Young to MAYBE pull that off.

Gave his honest opinions on why some of the moves wouldn't work in the NBA, which makes sense since the defenders are some of the top athletes in the World. But against the other 98% of basketball players, the Professor's moves would be fine.
