Beckham's resilience, grit and determination to succeed is unrivalled. I'm not a United fan, but he will always be one of my favourite footballers of that era and of all time. He transcends football, and will be remembered as a British icon, who is loved by the vast majority of the nation.

I’m NOT a UTD supporter but what a BRILLIANT DOCUMENTARY!! I like others couldn’t believe how Huge Beckham was. I’ve massive respect to Beckham and Posh after watching this. I urge anyone who hasn’t watched this to watch, you can only have respect and live to them both. Brilliant Brilliant Programme.

Absolutely loved it. One of the best football documentaries I have ever seen if not the best. What Beckham went through after France 98 was horrible. and I remember it well. Hoddle through him under the bus straightaway, Sir Alex protected him and looked after him. That's the difference between a good manager and a great manager.

Soccer is grown here, but other than Pele being the first player you learn about we didn't have soccer on tv here other than the New York Cosmos as a kid.. I played goalie in a league as a kid in the late 70s but we still didn't follow.. I had made friends with a couple of people from Manchester in 2001 in an AOL UK chat room. I wound up visiting one of them in May of 2003. That day, United were celebrating their premier league championship..I bought a knock off Beckham shirt. Then hecwss sold to Real Madrid just my luck. So I bought a Real Madrid Beckham jersey. Then Yankees and United joined to televise their games on their network in 2005. Now with all of the apps, KZread channels and NBC coverage, I follow more religiously..
