Honestly, I think the light was pretty rad. Those clouds looked amazing with the blues and slight oranges between the clouds. I vote color on those photos. Props on the fitness journey!

Very excited for the Portugal series!!! Allways like how you talk about the places you visit and the photography chalenges, and tips you give. Just discovered your videos and working my way through them. I was in Porto mid to end May after a week in the Douro. Never knew what was going to happen with the light. You're so right about the Portuguese though. I have a lot of Portuguese friends and spend as much time there as I can and they're always 'Go there, come here, you'll love this'.

Hahahaha I totally lost track of how many times I forget to eat because I`m photographing... I just completely lose track of time... Like that time I was in Sicily, and I stopped to take a couple of photos during sunset hour, but then blue hour came and it was just so beautiful and it`s my favorite time for shotting and as I was going to leave because I had a dinner, I just had to stop along the way for some night shots... I never made it to that dinner, and whet I finally realised I hadn`t eaten anything since lunch it was 1 am and I was still shooting!!! So yeah, I totally get you!!!

Great video brotha! On the subject of lifestyle/diet/exercise have you ever heard of intermittent fasting? I think it would be great for your type of lifestyle. You fast for 16 hours, then eat during an 8 hour window. The science behind the fat burning and weight loss is really awesome. Plus, the actual food you can eat is a bit less restrictive than a normal keto-type or no carb diet. I just started it!

I've heard people doing this, but in my head the science doesn't work. I want to boost my mobilization, which means smaller meals spread over the day. BUT, that said, I have heard it working.

Really enjoyed this episode Brendan You seem happiest when you have all the pieces of life’s jigsaw together When you said why no drone recently I immediately thought because you had Greg for weeks :-) Stop predicting epic light tho , 99% of the time will jinx it:-)

Porto is such a nice city. I was there shooting some street photos and stranger portraits in last year and especially the riverside but also on a beach very close to your location. Have you also done some street photography or photos along the river Douro there?

Hello Brendan and welcome to my country. For some time I've been following your channel and one of the trips I liked the most was Japan. Since you are in my country, you must come and visit my beautiful city, Setubal. A city that lies between the sea and the mountains. You have beautiful places in natural park Serra da Arrábida to photograph, you can always take a boat trip and see the dolphins ... in case you are interested I can show you the places. Good stay in my country and I hope you like it.

Instead of running 3 Km's in one hit which is insane, do what I do, run or even walk 100 meters a day and call it a workout. Greg

Great beach setting...tech question - you were shooting at 16mm using filters and polariser without vignetting, do you use standard lens adapter ring or wide angle adapter ring?

I use the wide angle adapter ring or else there would be lots of vignetting.

Learn all compositional rules (balance, scale, symmetry) by reading books, checking examples, actively observing and deconstructing photos by your fav photographers and websites by 500px. Try implementing them in your photos and see if they help. If they help, keep at it. If some rules feel like constraining you, break them. Experiment. Create your own style.

Why was there a 'K2' phone box in Portugal? .... presumably not there just for Vloggers.

I am surprised that you still are using Lee Filters which produce a heavy blue color cast. Do you prefer resin filters to glass filters? A lot of photographers do not like resin filters because they scratch easily. Peace!

You know what is amazing to do in Porto? Going up river.

Brendan is out in the sun so much, a hat is probably safer (more protective for his head) than not. Imagine all the lotion you'd need & remembering to put it on!! I think he just ran without one because headphones and a hat are usually a bad combo...headphones want to fall off or don't sit right in my experience. Either look is fine, but I think Brendan also LOVES his hats & will keep buying them :) He's a collector hahahaha

Hey Bro - you are pronating badly when you run, you'll have problems with ankle/knees,shin-splints down the track, if you don't fix that.

It's mostly because I'm out of shape, I'm going to stick some insoles in which should fix it up. I've pronated a bit all my life, and magically have never had ankle, knees, or shin splints my entire sporting career. Could just be luck.
