Great video! I found your takeaways at the end well articulated and thought out. You might dig Lewis' The Great Divorce, another interesting read in regards to what you shared here but more narrative and kinda fun. I might have misunderstood your comments on applied science, but I do think seeing science as also a tool for pain complicated some of what you and Lewis share here. Some science is applied to reduce suffering, but other avenues are used to amplify it. Military technology is the most obvious example. Again, I might have misunderstood, but it adds an interesting layer to conversations around suffering and the nature of sin. I’m looking forward to checking out your other videos!

Would love to hear your thoughts on CS Lewis’s Screwtape letters! This book was groundbreaking for me in my spiritual outlook.
