I've never had holy friendships. I can't seem to connect with people on a deeper level. Please pray for me.

May Our Lord Jesus Christ grant you that special grace.

Two things - If you want a good friend be a good friend. And, Jesus valued friendship so much that he equated the best type of friendship as the kind that lays down its life for others.

I was showing this clip to my son (18), because the message really applies to some drama he is going through. At the end I asked him what he thought. He replied "I couldn't get past the action figures." **sigh**🙄

Holy Friendship is essential - it's what we are called to have with Our Lord Himself and with our "neighbor." I have personally found that technology can actually be a great tool to sustain and deepen friendships. Romans 8:28 "All things work for good for those who love God." How to have holy, satisfying, edifying, inspiring, spirituality enriching friendships? Desire it!

EACH of my experiences with friendship has always turned VERY bad. I don't believe in friendship! The ONLY friend who has been good to me is my wife. Friendship is WAY too overrated!
