I haven't played my french horn since high school. 17 years later I want to run home, oil the valves and start playing!

Herbertned Fernandez thank you 🙏🏻 for your advice.
I will never get over the fact that the very last motif is God's theme. Literally the last notes (also heard every time that God intervenes supernaturally). I can't believe how nuanced the composers were in order to tell you through the music that the Lord has the last word.
man do your horns make this song sound that much better even though it is already so good
Help. I can't stop watching this.
It's 2022 and this arrangement has left one of the greatest impressions on me of any horn piece I've listened to. My friends and I used to listen to it for hours and we tried playing the solo at 4:11 with each other. The sound reaches my soul every time. Hoping to pick up horn again once I start college. Absolutely love this channel
I’m a pianist and percussionist. I’ve always loved brass, especially the horn. This guy’s videos make me wanna learn someday soon.
The B at 4:13 and the line that follows melts my heart.
5:28 to the end was just amazing!

Thanks ! It's a really powerful piece of music, Hans Zimmer really outdid himself on this one
YES YES YES FINAALLY SOMEONE DID IT!!!!
When conflict occurs between two cultures, those who live between them always suffer most. Like Dakis brothers, (between Taiwanese aboriginal tribe and Japanese colonial government) Like people of Alsace-Lorraine, (between France and Germany) Like Moses. (between Egyptians and Hebrews) May God teach us how to maintain the peace between people to people, country to country, Amen. (by Egan Hsieh, a Christian from Taiwan)

This was more than cultural conflict though, it was straight up slavery.

I really enjoy how he’s enjoying playing you can tell when someone moves their instrument
Being a tuba player who has recently moved again. I'm going to have to find an orchestra to join after hearing this. Forgot how much of a buzz it gave me. This is superb!
I am always surprised KZread does not allow to like more than one time. Still amazing Marc! Love it!
5:32 on is just magnificent! I like the richness of the high notes on the horn vs the warmer low notes of the trumpet section that follow! Then it all culminates into a powerful unison that brings it all home! Great work!
That sounded like so much fun to play!

I want this video to grow more. I like this most in my performance. Thank you for the best performances.
I'm coming back every now and then to listen to this masterpiece of a soundtrack - so nostalgic 🥹
Awesome work Marc! You're lungs must have got quite the work out from this one given how loud and fast some of the parts are. Don't pass out buddy!
I'm relearning my high school saxophone, but really, i've always love the horns!
Gotta love the 'old' Hans Zimmer XD

Not to mention Steven Schwartz. The person who wrote Prince of Egypt's famous songs to begin with
Je trouve ça fou de proposer une œuvre avec autant de technique et de frissons 😨
この映画を授業で見ました 世界観はもちろんですが 純粋に音が綺麗です✨
Wow, I love this set up. Your playing gave me goosebumps the whole time

Doing a D&D session with my kids tonight and they're getting into a Chariot Race in the big top at a Fey Carnival that stopped into their magical school. This is going to be their theme music as the race starts 🤣 Awesome cover haha

AMAAAAAZING!!!!
Hey Marc, when I'm playing along with this, I have the same look on my face as the guys on the video do by the time I reach 2:15 . Slightly panting, yet relieved to have made it to this point relatively unscathed!
So Talented

When one realizes the world was created by the SOUND of God’s voice, It becomes quite obvious why just about everyone likes music. Everyone’s got different tastes but y’know... We still like music, which is a beautiful form of sound.
