Thanks for taking the trouble to make this useful video. I'm researching at present prior to getting one for the back garden. Took me a while to realise there must be excellent KZread videos like your to help me out. Much appreciated!

We have now put the new fabric awning into the Primrose awning. It took us (two 78-year-olds who are not keen on climbing ladders!) about 15 minutes from start to finish. We are thrilled with the results.

Big thanks for uploading these videos on awnings, as I’m looking to purchase one myself. Can I ask, did you ever put that fire pit underneath the awning? Would you say it’s ok to have that type of fire pit on decking?

We have had our Primrose Awning for 8 or 9 years but the fabric has got badly marked and the valance is faded & frayed. Unfortunately Primrose don't do replacement fabric but we got a superb replacement from TG Outlets on Ebay. The fabric is a better quality than the original. I Will report back when we have replaced it. The videos on KZread make it look straightforward as long as you have help feeding the material through.

Hi D. Ordered one today, but only after watching your videos, they were the clincher. I must admit I was a little suspicious regarding quality given the competitive pricing. Found their website difficult. They list 'Electric', 'Manual' and 'Wireless Electric' awnings. I took Electric to mean wall switch operated, and 'Wireless to mean remote control. I had all but given up on the idea until I stumbled on the 'Awning Receiver Box with Remote Control Zappers' option. Which converts the 'Electric' awning to 'electric wireless'. I wonder how many have been unaware of this, and purchased elsewhere. ..... Many thanks Noel

Fabulous. Mine is a different make but the parts look pretty identical - arms, adjustments etc from what I've seen looking at your other video. Thanks again., Fingers crossed it will be as good. £120 for mine now and it's only 3mx2.5m , so 0.5 shorter than yours I think.

I am quite disappointed with regard to the fading of the colour of the blind & the valence. I have mine for about 3 years & the colour now is less than half the original depth & intensity. I only put the blind out when needed & not out all day long sunshine or not. So am not too happy with the fading of the colour compared to the original. Am not sire if I can just replace the material of the Blind & the Valence . Does anyone know ir thus is possible.
