To those of you Down Under, have any of you seen the clip when Larry made an appearance on the American show with Drew Carey? He called a contestant to come on down, and he also got to host the part where they played Cliffhangers. He did a pretty good job.

This version was so much more fun then the current version which should be named "THE BIG W SHOW"

This is the Australia game show.

I believe on the same day this episode of "Price" aired, "Millionaire" (the good version, none of that 'Hot Seat' carp) had Andrew Lockett (who I believe was a former Lot winner on "Sale of the Century") playing for $1 million.

That Steve guy was a bit of a bad sport aha - just walking off. 😂

Wow their version of Temptation pricing game is almost similar to the American version but all of the bonus prizes have 2 number to choose from (none of the bonus prizes have 3 numbers to choose from).

I don't recognise that sound from SOTC, but it was used on Keynotes. PiR, Keynotes and SOTC were all produced in the same studio and by the same production company.

I used to watch this as a kid. I have now discovered the US version which is much better.

It was used on the American "Sale".

Well, the American vision of The Price Is Right are very good for 42 years now.

I so agree, back then prizes were prizes and everybody got something. Now they cut down the prizes, no bidding... and what about the poor audience? I was wrapped when they brought it back, but now disappointed because they've changed all the games (not to mention Plinko in almost every episode!). Most days I don't even bother =(

I don't know they only got 1/2 an hour any longer then deal or no deal wouldn't be on i love that show too Andrew O'keefe can be annoying but he's funny and tpir just before it at 5rpm it's great with larry and I love watching all the tpir shows old and new same host bit different nutcases "come on down' everyday that what makes a show brilliant and i like the 40 second clock on the showcase it makes me think straight from least expensive to most lol!!!!!!!!!!

sorry to hear that it may not be same show as it was but i still watch it anyways well plinko not in every episode and the showcase might not be as big i reckon they should give a car before showcase i know thats not going to happen because channel 7 is on the cheap except for dond at least you got $200,000 to play for everyday sorry if i might offended anyone!!!!!!!!!!

bruce2256 If Price Is Right production team were anything like Wheel of Fortune' production team, he hadn't won a single thing. You needed to win big in order to get anything. My cousin was on WoF in the early 1990s and didn't even get a consolation prize like most of these shows made out onscreen to give away. 🙄
