This movie is essentially about how clones of Wolverine & twins of Batman try to out magic each other with the help of Alfred Pennyworth, Black Widow, Gollum, & Jareth The Goblin King.

David Bowie as Nikola Tesla is the cherry on top of this mind bending sundae. If you two haven’t seen it, Nolan’s “Memento” is another mind blowing film you two should definitely see/react to.

Christopher Nolan likes to use the same actors in his movies.

The Borden/Fallon twin brothers played by Christian Bale has different personalities, one is more cunning, evil and obsessed, the other is more kind, nice and less obsessed! One loved Sarah and one loved Olivia! And than the Fallon guy Bale also played was more subtle!

Definitely my favourite Christopher Nolan movie. It's great that it kept you two guessing until the end.

You mentioned the novel. It's great and worth reading but I warn that the movie is a very loose adaptation, many things added but many others missing, e.g. novel has another timeline taking part in the present time which has very horror-like point.

Loved your reaction as always. You should watch society of the snow. It's a great movie and I would love to hear what you have to say about that one. (If you have the chance do it in the original language with subtitles, the acting was amazing)
