@@lloydmoodie3985 2014/15 Costa is one of the greatest strikers I’ve ever seen him and Fabregas arguably won us the title that season just a year after we blew it late on in Mourinho’s first season back at the club. We were crying out for a striker that summer to put us over the top and we sold Lukaku to make way for a proven goal scorer in Costa. My favourite Chelsea player of all time.

never seen anyone adapt into a new team and new league as quick as Costa did! especially his decision making is so great, either score when he shoots or pass when someone else could score! 💙💙

Funny how despite being so aggressive Costa hardly got a Red card. Absolute master of a striker and nightmare for defenders. Miss him in blue colors.

3 seasons of top quality finishes. We've really missed an actual striker since he left. Hope we don't make mistake of letting Broja leave.

He actually kissed the badge for his very last goal for the club 😭😭😭

We used to to have quality wingers like shurlle , willian , hazard and pedro plus creative players like cesc and oscar. The only players in our squad who could play in that team is sterling, kk, silva, and r james. kova cant bench any of the midfielders.

I feel like Broja is the closest we will get to a Digeo Costa. Different Animal!

Ever since he left we’re yet to find another Diego Costa. What he had with fabregas was just magical to witness

13:07 had always been one of my favourite Costa goals. That game we didn't look like scoring and he fought for the loose ball and scored in the last few mins of the game. Such a superb striker.

Full of determination and was tech’ed up. Always being creative to make an opportunity to score. Never bland always fresh. He could do it ALL

Broja is the closest thing to Costa for Chelsea’s future, he’s physical, fast on the break, can use his feet well and has proven some lethal finishes but is still only 20 and can keep improving if Tuchel uses him next season, good fit for PL 💙

Drogba, Costa, Giroud. They had that kind of killer instinct, agression that only elite forwards have. They could contribute to the game immediately when Chelsea need them most and did it perfectly. Unfortunately we have no such attacking strentgh nowadays. Waiting for the next transfer window. Bring Broja back.

Difference between Costa and Lukaku is that Costa brilliantly able to adapt to the way how his team plays, his style of play is different in Atletico and in Chelsea, whereas Lukaku is still daydream that he is still in Inter, and very lazy to make many plays which causes so much slowness whenever he plays….

Costa's first touch and finishing are underrated, left foot, right foot, doesn't matter. He pulled off some very impossible and unexpected goals, what a player!!!!

You know sometimes I wish fan mail was still a thing. Where you could send letters to your club of choice. (or the modern day equivalent ) I would like to thank this man for providing us Chelsea fans with moments that will forever be edged into our memories. He typified exactly the type of striker Chelsea Football Club should always strive to have. Well when you don’t have a midfielder of Fabregas’ ilk; it’s not possible.

He came in and fits so well.. from pre season we knew he will had us running and he did at the opening weeks of the Epl.. Defenders were scared.. Had a good first season, average second season and best last season with the Epl.. we miss him 💙💙💙

Our last Elite Centre Forward, haven't replaced him since, Hoping Broja will be that man next season.

My favourite season of all time we were top of the league from start to finish. Costa and Fabregas were the signings of the season propelling us to the premier league after we choked the season before.
