Just a note.. drop apparently allotted only a certain number of units to be sold at the coupon price. I was not made aware of this and therefore prepped multiple videos to promote it. You guys ate that shit up and killed this sale in 2 days. I'm going to try and get the coupon to reactivate at some point since I know a couple of you were waiting until the 20th AKA today

Geshelli gear absolutely rocks. I bought a combination of the J2 and E2 in Oak with neon green faceplates (w USB option). Playing with HD 6XX Sennheisers. Buy with confidence. You will not be sorry. I am thinking about reftrofitting a new knob on my amp, so I agree with Z on that. I find the mix of the wood and the neon green makes a great balance of vintage and modern in visual appeal too. Feeding it with foobar2000. Tasty!

I love @Geshelli Labs. I'm lucky enough to have not one, but two Jnog's (not the J2) and 3 Enog2Pro DAC's, all with the AKM chips. Also, I have an Erish which needed a repair job last year. I got an upgraded board with better power supply components. I needed to call them for assistance on one aspect of the board swap and spoke to both Sherri and Geno at length that particular day. Wonderful people to deal with and to just have a chat with. It's great to have an American audio shop like Geshelli Labs making American products, in America. I will forever be a fan of the company and it's products. My wish list for the company is to see them branch out and start doing speaker amplifiers.

geshelli labs products are made so well that mine will likely outlive me... Something I can't say about their competitors . It seems as soon as my Topping / SMSL etc gear gets out of warranty it's toast .

I have the original Jnog and Erish, mainly listen on the Focal Elex. Great sounding products, very happy with the sound, and customer service is amazing - probably because you are talking to the actual owners every time you contact them. Sherri and Geno are the nicest people, happy to support them.

I own both the Enog2 Pro DAC and the Archel 2.5 in the aluminum enclosure. I can't say enough good things about Geshelli. The DAC and amp both sound great and easily power all my headphones - granted I'm not running anything super low sensitivity or anything fancy. What impressed me the most is the customer service. When ordering my Archel, I asked in the order notes if I could get a different color acrylic for my Enog2 Pro. I knew it was a long shot since they had discontinued the Enog2 by the time I asked. But they pulled through and sent out a few different color front panels they had left over from Enog2 production. It's those types of little details like that I remember when thinking about a company down the road. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another Geshelli product. Though if I want to, I had better get on the waiting list! I'm tempted by the Archel 3.

Bought an Enog 2 Pro back in 2019. The original unit had an issue with the power input where it created a high pitched whine, but Geshelli was extremely quick about replacing it. 10/10 customer service. New unit had no issues, sounded great. Clean, and pretty much the AKM sound I expected. Only thing I didn't like was the orientation where the inputs were on one side, and the outputs were on the opposite side, so stacking was janky as heck, if not impossible, but seems this has been addressed in later models. Haven't had a reason to buy another product from them due to lack of use case, but if any friends asked me for advice on a good setup without breaking the bank, I'd be more than happy to recommend them alongside Schiit and JDS

Higher load impedance draws less current from the amplifier, which indeed is easier on the amplifier. BUTTTT with higher impedances it takes more voltage to get the same output power for a given efficiency .

I can't wait to get my j2 in a few weeks. I plan on buying multiple J2s and archel xls purely due to the customization of the looks... Plus I haven't seen/heard anyone say anything bad about the quality. If they started making phono pre amps, larger dedicated stereo amps, etc. I'd probably buy all of them. If I can buy all custom color and wood components to match all the different rooms in my house I'm gonna do it.

Update: after having my J2 for 4 months, I love it. It really cleaned up the sound of my Cambridge axr100. It didn't take away the warmth from the amp, just added a ton of detail and airiness. I have had my archel 2.5xl for a couple weeks now and while I like it, I can't figure out what its doing to the sound. It's almost like it's rearranging where some of the instruments are in songs that I know very well. It's really tweaking me out. Headphone amp wise it's awesome. It's when I use it as a pre amp that I get so confused about the sound. Oh well. It adds more detail and top end than the Cambridge +J2 alone which is sometimes good and sometimes not. Not unexpected from class D. Bottom line is I really like both products and would buy them again. Customer service is AAAAAAA+++++++
