The Power of Positivity in Fighting Prostate Cancer

Hello, another short video about how I'm coping with my stage 4 prostate cancer.
My blood results went great this week but I have to remain positive Thank you for watching this video, I’ve been making these videos as a vlog sharing my journey through Advanced Metastatic Prostate Cancer.
My world literally fell apart on Sept 15th 2021 when I was diagnosed with Advanced Prostate Cancer which according to my Oncologist is incurable (although ive never accepted that) Questions such as how long have I got left how bad is it , in fact, a whole host of frightening thoughts, where sudennly swarming around my mind and exploding at opportune moments when I felt most vulnerable.
If i were to be honest, I was lost and lonely to begin with. People don’t know how to deal with someone who has stage four cancer. It’s a taboo subject. I honestly didn’t know who to turn to for help. It can be a dark place and I only wish I could of found a channel such as this to help me through those early days.
I started writing a blog whilst I was in hospital and recovering at home after the initial treatment phase.
I then decided to make this vlog because it seemed a better way to get my story out there. I want to provide a channel where I would continue telling my story for as long as I can and invite comments from others that can also help and share their own experiences.
Cancer can be a lonely place, and I hope this channel will help someone else who may be a bit lost and feel alone whilst dealing with their own diagnosis and experience.
Nothing is ever as bad as you think it will be, and that seems to the case so far with my experience with Prostate Cancer.
Thank you for watching. Please comment and subscribe if you feel like it, and please share the videos with anyone you think may find them helpful
Woody ❤️

Hi Woody. Have been following you for some time. Like you my 2 year anniversary was in August. Stage 4 Gleason score 8. Radiation then hormone treatment every 3 months. My PSA is low now and treatment will come to an end in February. I remain positive and happy with my life. We never know the final result of success. At 77 I hope for another good 10 years. We will survive as more do than don’t.

Hay Woody, glad to see you again. I had your site set for notification but didn’t see your last several videos. You’re looking good. I don’t know if you remember but I’ve got prostate cancer myself, age 78 and my PSA numbers consistently have been running in the 8-10 range. I just went in for the blood work again yesterday. My doc has me tested every 6 months. Don’t let the numbers get to you. Worrying about them will just bring on extra stress. I think your posts are very helpful to us guys that get the C diagnosis and don’t know where to turn. Prayers for you and best wishes from Texas Friendly Bill

Woody so two years after diagnosis, yes we reflect on life, sorry your PSA has risen a little. My PSA is low but I am still on hormone therapy even after 3 years since diagnosis. Keep being kind and positive Woody.

We must live positive, I agree, although we do not know how our illness will or will not progress, and we do not know how many years are in front of us. Not easy but we must accept the situation and remain kind and positive.

Hi Woody good news story from the Duran Duran guy, come to end of all treatments at home on end of life care, recommended to try LU psma, this was 2 years ago, he now feeling fit, well, making new music and reckons this drug gives him minimum another 5 years , he paid private, it becomes NICE approved for NHS patients later this year. So when you still here living life to the full in another 3 years and you go to see your Oncologist and explain you blown all your money because he said you would be dead by then does he put in hand in pocket to help, love to see look on his face when you ask
