Charisma attracts jealousy from people who cannot even think of possessing it and compensate it by hating the other person

This. This is why Charisma is attractive. You can’t have it without being courageous and have fought for it. Don’t fall for fake charisma though. A lot of phonies that know how to catch the idiots with pseudo charisma.

I like formulas too, but you casted a wide net my friend. that's very vague. you can add openness, social intelligence to pick up on cues, linguistic intelligence to Express themselves effectively, control over one's body... and so much more based on the type of charisma they have.
Retaining the seed will give you plenty of charisma

I see so frequently a negative image being associated with Charisma. ppl think of it as in they are Narcissists. Which is not the case most of the time. Charm is attractive because it is inherently admired by ppl mainly due to the fact it has a certain Warmth to it.

Around 9 out of 10 times I’ve met so called ‘charismatic’ people, they were manipulative with low to no empathy, showing selfish behaviour and often malicious intent which was hidden under this fake image of a warm, welcoming and generous person that they created. They do generous acts only to build their image, and gather a crowd of admirers. Many of them fool people for a short while, but as you spend time with them, you can see through their facade quickly.

When I was a teenager I had a friend who was like that with his stories and what he experienced and we became best friends, it was so compelling. Now I realize he was probably a kind of narcissist who made up these stories to influence lesser confident naïeve people like me, because it was so easy and I ate every story like cheesecake

Inner glow...
I have it. Why? Because I get a kick out of life, people, nature and the work I do. “Charisma” comes with dancing to the poetry of life, seeing the glass full to the brim, loving irony and humor, basically having a blast every day and passing that energy on to others. I must add having empathy for the tragedies, too. I laugh and cry equally and see everyone I meet as a potential friend. I see the complainers around me but don’t engage. My “charisma” is reserved for others who are creative, active participants in life. I’m not hugely social, but I do love to “connect” - with all kinds of people from all walks of life.
As one gets older, many (not all) will learn that confidence and COMPETENCE are two very different things. Life has a way of being a brutal teacher.
@luke.a.schwarz

Why should they be different things?
Charisma is not something that you can learn to do. There’s no school for it, it comes naturally. And that in its essence is what attracts people to the charismatic person!
@neilsmith5510

You're wrong people can learn to be charismatic. It's just a set of behaviours. People can learn new behaviours: smiling when you enter a room, giving strong eye contact, good posture etc.
@John42papACR

100% agreed. You have to tap into your own personal inner power. Because by definition, “learning to be charismatic” is inherently non-charismatic.

Charisma is a personality trait that is shared by some personalities. Charismatic people do stimulate environments. Con men are always charismatic. Not all charismatic people are con men. Socio,psychopathic personalities have charisma,but are confused with empathy,because it’s about a need for attention. A better skill is listening.
Robert, you have charisma and so many other wonderful qualities. Would love our paths to cross one day.
Absolutely love how you as an author are coming out and explaining your books and their intent. I've read all of them when I was younger and I should go back and reread them
i met a man years ago who had women lining up down the block. I had heard of him by by (then) boyfriend (who HATED him). this guy, Bob, was short, fat, balding, lousy teeth, and always broke...but OH MURDER...so sexy. I knew what i saw was at variance with what i felt, and i wanted to understand what made Bob this sex magnet. Finally, i figured out that it was confidence, willingness to listen, his comedic talent and sense of timing. To sum it up, charisma. After my ex and i broke up i got to know Bob much better, but knew that as much fun as he was, he was a poor bet in the long term. We parted friends and remained so for 40 years until his death. an example of this is singer Tom Jones, singing, dancing, showmanship, sexy as hell even as an old man, confidence made him charismatic. RIP friend Bob and sir Tom, love ya...muriel
It’s easy it’s call the favor of God it’s very simple seek him above all things and show your love for him.

Be wary, narcissists then. They are charismatic enough to pull anyone in their messed reality they live in their heads. They need someone to be their narcissistic supply.
