    3D all in one is by far and by no underestimation THE BEST. I have have detailed since 1999. I have tried all the Gucci and rebranded stuff over the years. I always come back to 3D. From WIPE to the Bug remover, its all exactly what you want. No need to look anywhere else. 3D has what you need.

    I used 505 for the first time today. I normally use Speed but thought id give the 505 a go. It worked really well and left a lovely rich and wet looking finish. I think i prefer it over Speed but will need to use it a bit more to know for certain. I really love the green colour and apple fragrance. Only thing id say is Speed leaves the surface a little slicker feeling. I dont think you can go wrong with either the Speed or 505, both excellent products.

    Speed does have acrylic resins which do fill slightly and seal and the montan wax is the top layer of product. I've tested this multiple times using a prep wipe after and I've seen little to no defects come back, mainly if using on harder paints.

  • @3DCarCare

    @3DCarCare

    Жыл бұрын

    Used correctly - it REMOVES defects - NOT fills in. Used incorrectly - then sure, ALL WAXES THAT WORK FILL. Otherwise, why would you use a product if it didn't leave itself behind? Isn't that the idea of putting on a LAYER of wax? To lay down a FILM of protection? If you're leaving product behind to protect the paint it's only physics that it FILLS. Common topic, lots of misinformation by all the experts on FB, IG and YT -Mike Phillips

    Yes or use 3D Bead It Up. If it were me? I would use Bead It Up BUT - I would also use it on a regular basis. If used on a regular basis, (because it's FAST and easy), there's no need for a wax or sealant. If you're NOT going to maintain the results, then go with a wax or sealant. -Mike PHillips

    I have a question for you, Mike. You have worked with so many products and pads. Being that 3D also makes their own pads, would you say 3D Pads are of better quality materials and construction overall than your competitors like Lake Country, Rupes, Oberk, Buff and Shine etc?? Price wise your pads are more expensive than all the other mfgs.

    Do you think 505 correction glaze with a microfiber pad would cut good on a newer rv and boat for a quick polish ?

  • @3DCarCare

    @3DCarCare

    2 жыл бұрын

    Yes it would but remember that the microfiber is a form or abrasive in itself. I would suggest a foam pad (Polishing OR cutting) instead of microfiber cause the microfiber may leave marring behind and something that big you would want to only do the job once not twice. - Yancy

Mike is a well of information and trying to get all that info out for you lol. Also thanks for your input on the next video and Bead It Up works very well with SPEED and Poxy. I use it on my Redeye as a topper to SPEED and POXY. I use it as a quick detailer over them. Windows, paint, plastic - inside and out. Only thing I don't use it on is my Alcantarra and leather. Great stuff! Thanks for watching - Yancy

    Can the 505 remove 3000 grit scratches ?

  • @3DCarCare

    @3DCarCare

    Жыл бұрын

    Depends on, Paint hardness or paint softness. Type of tool. Type of pad. Your skill and technique level. On most paints, I could easily remove 3000 grit sanding marks using a foam cutting pad with the FLEX BEAST and even faster and easier with a wool pad or a foam pad on a rotary polisher. In the real world, I wouldn't be trying to remove 3000 grit sanding marks as a normal practice as I would use 3D 510 Premium Rubbing Compound with a wool pad on a rotary. -Mike Phillips
