I was initiated in the Temple of Obatala back in 2001 in Ile-Ife. The late Chief Baba Adeyela Adelekan introduced us in the mid-2000s via email but unfortunately we never made direct contact with each other. I read your book, An Introduction to the Ifa Literary Corpus, and have learned so much from you and appreciate the depth of your knowledge. I was initiated as the Oluranse Emese back in 2011 and have continued to study and teach Ifa under the tutelage of Chief Ayobamidele Adelekan and the Isoro Traditional Council of Chiefs. I am striving to grow in my knowledge of Ifa and in my role as the Oluranse Emese (Voice of the Emese to the New World).
