Sound is really best

This thing sounds good. I may have to buy one when it goes on sale again and give it to the GF.

Loved the video! I've been looking for a new mechanical keyboard under 100, really liking the pudding caps. What does the silicone do?

Hi. Thank you. The silicone provides sound dampening and removes the hollow sound. Not entirely necessary as the keyboard comes with case foam but I had extra so wanted to try it!

i got me the keyboard with brown switches yesterday on black friday for 65euro... and im really satisfied, the space bar and the big enter key are smooth ... no rattling sounds.. very thocky... will get me some some o-rings and some SA keycaps next

The texture is really good, very colorful

I have the 100 version of this, which is SLIGHTLY more compact, I love mine, though I had other people do the "lubing" work when I bought my gataron ink blacks.

Thank you. They're royal kludges in house switches. Likely equivalent to kailh reds.

I love making budget keyboard feel and sound like premium keyboard. I'm glad i found a like-minded person here on youtube!

Definitely made a difference, though lubing the switches was a pain. Hope to get a chance to do more of these in the future.

protip, premium keyboards are junk. Thanks to diy scene premium keyboards are now worse than the above brand

I love the aesthetics this keyboard has but no sound wheel/knob is always a deal breaker for me.

Take a look at Royal Kludge S 98. It has the same layout as this keyboard but it also has a knob and a small screen next to it. I have no idea what the screen is used for by the way. Also it's probably a bit more expensive than this one.

are you using this wirelessly or with cable? just a caution I've been using this keyboard for almost 9 months now and I just noticed that when plugged in the back of the keyboard is so hot I think its the battery overheating when the cable is always plugged in.

I doubt its sold separately. You would have to get a black version of the keyboard or just spray paint it black.

It's called a switch opener. I purchased mine on AliExpress a long time ago. I don't know the exact brand. Hope this helps

I just got this keyboard in the black version with blue and black keycaps, but they aren't shiny through or have a transparent body like yours. Are those only for the white version ?

Hello sir Chris, would you know if the keycars are PBT or ABS? I just bought this amazing mechanical keyboard too (blue switches so I can feel the click, though the spacebar is acting like an amplifier- it's not the noice but the frequency of the noise X-D but it's fine by me- I must feel the click, it's very satisfying even if it's noise but then all keyboards even if it's thocc is still noisy just at maybe a lower, more bearable frequency). If it sounds like it resonates, you could fill the housing with dampening -- and ofc normal stuff like lubing stabs and possibly bandaid modding the bottom of the stabs so their point of contact with the board isn't plastic on metal.

As far as the keycaps I carefully filled the backs of mine with silicone, it was a pain but It did sort of dampen/deepen the sound of the bottomout. Idt I'll ever do it again, not bc it sounded bad -- it's just time consuming af.
