What I find funny about this narrative, is that ‘we are being to naive’ ‘we should know when sit back’ ‘we should definitely not play such a high line’. The second villa switched off their high line to try and defend the gap to us and potentially steal a winner to make it 8 points. The second that happens, all of the critics were slamming them for ‘changing the way they play’ ‘being cowards’! They really do just run with whatever at the moment regardless of the hypocrisy

Mate, it's such a great pity that Ange isn't getting the respect that he deserves in his own country. The sport sections of tabloids (Murdoch Hun) and broadsheets (Sydney Morning Shitter) alike are filled with tales of farting AFL players, and NRL players facing court for white powder/poor behaviour offences. I'm so proud of our man Ange and the wonders he's working in North London.

I agree, up to a point. There are some quality young managers in the A-League. Mark Jackson (ex Leeds at CCM), Ufuk Talay at SFC and Big Chiefy (Giancarlo Italiano at the 'Nix, whose pressers are as honest and refreshing as Big Ange's) @@Roar-Spurs

That's not an Ange or football/soccer problem, but a Aussie sports media problem who always publish the NRL and AFL ahead of the other football codes. That doesn't mean Ange isn't adored in Australia by people who follow proper football (aka soccer). - He brought our national team their greatest success ever with a team of nobodies. - There are multiple murals in Melbourne of him. - Media shows (like those hosted by Waleed Aly, Craig Foster, etc) make regular updates on him. I don't know of any other coach as universally beloved in Australia as Ange.

Did you notice the game on in the background on TV - when Owen visited Ange’s office? Ange was keeping tabs on his old team and assistant coaches - he is a football purist ❤

I don't know what the result is gonna be at Fulham on Saturday. However, what I do know is that I absolutely cannot wait for kick off on Saturday evening. Compared to so many times these last few years when waiting for a spurs game has felt like a walk to the gallows. When we were waiting last spring/summer to see who the new manager was going to be, that was my first priority for them. Get us enthused about the team again, and then we can try to build to further success from there.

Thanks for the loan round up I know you talk about movies a lot but not sure about your choice of books, one book I would recommend, although it may not be your cup of tea is an older book it's one of the few written by Alistair MacLean that was never butchered into a movie the book is HMS Ulysses. Of all the books he's written that have been put on the big screen "Where Eagles Dare" is the closest to the book, HMS Ulysses is a great read. Have a good one, take care of yourself and enjoy.

Spurs are definitely going to be the king makers in this year's title race. Spurs will beat both Man City and Arsenal. May be a draw vs Liverpool or Spurs will nick it!

Imagine if we had got Atleast 3 points out of one of the wolves game, the villa home game we should have won, and I also feel like Chelsea at the bridge we could have won. That’s 9 points and we’ve had crazy injuries this season. I genuinely feel like we could have won the league this year without injuries.. hopefully next season we will be even stronger!

Hi, Ali. It’s too early but who’s your best player of the season so far? Vicario, Porro, Romero, Udogie, Sarr and Son in no particular order for me. It’d be likely Son or Porro when the season is over since the stat is a huge factor.

Manor S return would be a big plus to the remaining games in the season and we can feel lucky that after a injury hit middle to the season we are back to near full strength at the right time

I don’t think Kulusevski has been at his best since that Brighton game. The Fulham left back seemed to have his number from the off. Pressing him aggressively. Sadly Johnson struggled too as most of the team did. Tougher games ahead than that and midfield hasn’t looked right for a while. Nobody on the top of their game, starters or subs.

For sure. I tore both hamstrings. They get shorter and are more prone to tear in the future. They will keep going because of his style and also the amount of training and ganes that the pl produce.

Just on the seniors thing. Yeah, it would be nice but consider this. I'm all for senior concessions on transport, council rates, road tax etc, as there's no limit to application numbers. But when it comes to venues only so many applicants can be successful in attaining tickets. At certain venues such as cinemas, you can give concessions on certain days and at certain times and so on but obviously that's not the case with Spurs. I'm a senior living in Australia so can only speak accordingly, but the average senior here has more, or at least as much, money as any youngster so I'm with the club on that. And yeah, I'm aware of the loyalty thing but don't have a solution. Maybe very heavy concessions for junior and women's football to fill stadiums would work and allow us to get our football fix.

Never be with the club, because they'll never be with you. Comparisons to cinemas and other leisure pursuits don't wash. You can choose your cinema and film, but not easily transfer your season ticket. There's a rapacious commercialism at Spurs under Levy and ENIC, and it's sickening. And, no, it doesn't translate into bigger transfer funds for players.

Surley net worth includes assets which are not liquid , eg house furthermore it’s the average meaning a large number of people are above and below that number. Surley the disposable income is more important and many people don’t have that currently
