@TexasFilipino when I get back to the Philippines I'll have to make reservations to stay there
I have to admit. Your pond project has me hooked..
I really enjoyed the blog James, keep up the good work you are doing there my friend
I like your creative use of those baskets. Your guests will be able to pretend they are living on Gilligan's island! Ha, ha!
Monsoon season is pleasant compared to that blistering heat wave and drought western visayas experienced. Enjoy brother
Everything is looking Great there ! I see alot of Innovation that makes sense as well. As always I do Enjoy watching your content ! 😊
Git'r Done cuz, git'r done. Hope you all recover from the "cootie." Love for you all. Crazy how small the world is sometimes. :)
Keep on trucking everything is coming along nicely. Glad y’all had fun at the grand opening. Can’t wait to visit one day.
wow nice visit from filipina lady from Texas great video , nice to watch
Tip: If you want a good bond on the stones, submerge them for 30 minutes in water before setting them in concrete, especially the more porous stones. Dry stones will quickly absorb the moisture at the contact point, giving concrete at that contact area less time to cure. The same for tiles. Inevitably, some rocks are susceptible to getting loose when stepped on, especially if they are set at an angle. Doing this will lessen the chance, and you get to use the pondwater during construction! Atleast this is my experience from smaller rocks similar in size to the ones you used for in between your bigger rocks. I think your bigger rocks will be fine. Good content, keep it up!
This place is going to be amazing when it's finished brother, I wish I had half of your knowledge when it comes to building. I'd love to meet up sometime in the future. I know I would learn a few things.👍
I love the summer rain and the new washed colors it brings. So beautiful. ❤
Hi. The tarp reflects on the boat and it shows a beautiful blue color. At first I thought you painted that boat. Thanks
🎶singin in the rain, just singin in the rain🎶. That rain should help to drop the ph in yr ponds once it’s pumped out, so not so much curing to be done later. Looks like a fantastic chill out area gonna be a comin’ to a beach near you!! Must have been a few hrs of planning and sketching gone into that. Love your work. 👌👌👌
Wow !Nice works !
Another interesting video
Maybe add a island in the center for sun bathing turtles 🐢 good for locals to take pics and different since most places here just do over kill on koy fish but looks good 👍🏻
Hello James & Melinda …nice to met both of you …in Roxas …we had fun and did enjoyed the opening of the Canadian Beaver bar & grill …hope to see you again in the near future…lovely couple 😍…..Cheers 🥂 Don/Dorie Ps….thanks for our pic on your page 😊…
Helll my brother how are you and your wife doing all I can say is just keep up the good work you doing
Fantastic work on the pond and surrounding areas James. You are going to have a "must go to destination" for tourists, it's already starting to be "that place".
Happy San Juan day to James and Mel and your family.
It's definitely easy to get sick there during the rainy season. Especially with intermittent showers. All hot and sweaty then chilled a little from the rain then hot and sweaty again. You do that a couple of times in a day it makes getting sick really easy. I like your more natural approach to the pond life. God bless and stay safe.
Great pictures, James, Looks like a lot of fun 😎

All natural is good 👍 but ive been in nature & have been ate alive by mosquitoes & also yellow flies if there is water around you will have mosquitoes just saying . Hey do yall have yellow flies there ?? I hope not those things will make you wish you had Skeeters after you instead of them lmao 😂. Brother i hope you do those full size Quarter horses or Morgans which ever your thinking of that would be as cool as grits dude. Man if those philliphinos keep piling on that coast guard boat .They will need more coast guards to resue them they are gonna sink that bad boy lmao 🤣. I see they do boats like jeepneys & trikes / bikes the more the merrier 🤣. Take care Po 🙂

Not right now. It is pain int he butt always asking help to put it out and bring it in. I also don't want to build anything to assist doing it myself right now. I have enough going on. We do however have it up high onshore to replace the bamboo outriggers. I had new ones made. I plan on using it starting about September on. The worst of the rainy season is over them and more relaxing.
