Ah yes, the "Big Shot Shuffle." I bought a Big Shot as a partial solution to making Instant portraits. The MagiCube-only thing raised the price per picture price. I considered looking for an electronic flash solution, but I turned back to Ye Olde 35mm camera in the long run. So, it's as useful as the millions of 126-using Instamatics consigned to the dumpster bin of history. (Can you say: "Fakmatic"?;)

pack film cameras can be repurposed to use 120, 35mm, and sheet film with 3d printed cartridges and backs, and can be modified to use Instax wide and i-type film and can be converted to manual shutter speeds easily with an $8 resistor array.

I love it!!! I never had one, but my first ever camera was a Colorpack II ... If I could afford film, I am sure it would still work ... it did in 2017 when I still had pack film!!! I always wanted one because of the Andy Warhol connection!!!

My Dad had one when I was a kid. I don't remember him taking many pictures ever, so have my suspicions what he used it for. Hmm.

Look through your junk drawer, I sent you an electric flash for this. One of the rare ones that fits (mostly) behind the flash fresnel lens. It is not a diffuser, it is a lens that focuses the flash at a point where the film lens focuses. Stand at the focal distance and look at the magic cube through the lens. Becomes clear. The flash was with the Mamiya Press packfilm back I cobbled together for you same box that got lost but eventually got there. A Nissin PF25 is one I think I sent. Less output than real Magicube and needs tape to hold it but I have found it works well with Instax.

Because it was a fixed focus camera, and the viewfinder matched to images to find the exact distance from camera to subject, the images all had a remarkable consistent look when showing a group of the photos. I think this was one of Andy Warhol's favorite cameras for taking celebrity Polariod photos.

Polaroid made a similar camera, I believe for copying traces from an oscilloscope. I got one with a Tominon 105f4.5 in a self setting Copal shutter. It is now mounted on a lens board for a Baby Graphic, waiting for an outing.

I'd be interested to see which Instax film would fit inside it best. The 800 ISO may make it easier to use without a flash

I was following one of these for awhile but i managed to nab a Studio Express quad passport camera and two packs of FP100 film for like £50. Though this does look so cool

Strange camera, looks like its from Star Trek or something lol I love the result with the diffused flash and when the background isn't a wall, especially bright. Otherwise, it looks awesome in a natural outdoor setting, where the flash isn't bouncing off. And really cool research on behind the scenes and old photographs. Id use it, because 1, its a film camera that can give good results when used properly and second, it's one of those film cameras that give you the results instantly

sad that impossible shat the company... I was hoping that they could connect profit and love for analog tech, and maybe release a packfilm once, but since they retired spectra film Im just glad they make anything, likely in the long run will discontinue all this low profit high effort chem stuff and go bankrupt selling rebranded chinese single use soapboxes or an app or something

Excuse Me what I am About to Type: "DAMM YOU POLAROID!!! - DAMM YOU FUJI!!! Just when people are discovering in shooting the joys in film shooting since Slice Bread, And as that you the Dutch at Polaroid are just Idiots that you destroyed the most artistic piece of photographic history, Yea I know you said this: "We will no longer be making pack film ever So There 😝, and Fuji Is this getting back from why you guys discontinued 3 Great films Neopan 400, 1600, and Provia 400 - that was really hitting below the belt, and what do you have now? NOTHING! We do not know in what you guys will be killing off, you guys should be called FUJIDIGITAL not FUJIFILM, Their is no Film when shooting Digital... But like the same like Polaroid you guys also said this to the film people: "We will no longer be making pack film ever So There 😝", How long that you will be continue to make Instax?? Think about that? You going Pissed Off ALOT of Film Shooters like ME! Oh Yes Great Video Analog Resurgence Keep it up Make more videos.....
