Seeing this, I might google how to use frequent flyer points. It can be really dicey when trying to use them. I have loads of points on BA but it always takes so much that you can use most of them on one rt flight. I think I might switch my cc usage to a cash rewards because it doesn't seem economical using a frequent flyer points card anymore. Airlines need to start respecting their customer.

Search in Private or Incognito Mode. I've been traveling for years and I've never had an issue (though GoToGate is a bit flaky)

i try to book through the airline when possible. when you go to book, Google will give you quite a few options. For instance: which would you rather do business with - Swiss Airlines or Cheap-O-Air. I've done both... you can guess which was a better experience.

The beaches of the Philippines cant be beat. Palawan, borocay, and so many other less known ones. It is the most beautiful country in the world.

@moderndaydrifter4672 I've been to 30 countries, so I probably know more than you on the topic. Philippines has no temples worth mentioning. Thai and Indonesian food over Filipino food all day.

I've never been to Philippines. I've seen a few photos of some beaches and I, honestly, thought they were Caribbean photos. I know a lot of Americans retire there.

Costa Rica is expensive too many expats.. That PURA VIDA means PURA MENTIRA PURA IMPUESTOS. You can't go wrong in Los Cabos or Belize or any in Carribean.

Um... because it's true? I'm a janitor and I went on a 17-day trip around the world, plus another trip to Dubai and weekend trips to New Orleans, Seattle, and Cleveland all in 2023 simply because it's been so affordable.

What about the massive carbon footprint for all of this flying- you cannot have it both ways.
