Thank you, JonTron for raising awareness of the Sloth slander that’s apparently been going on for years. I will not stand for this.
Seeing a sloth in the wild was one of my most memorable experiences while visiting Costa Rica.

It’s because they are high on tree bark that goes absorbed into they nails just like a human being high 24/7 on mushrooms

Yeah she is contagious with her enthusiasm. Has wit, is and smart. I was just thinking on how do Sloths live. Still don't see how they are not killed by predators or hunted by things like Jaguars.

Lovely story with a proper lesson at the end. Convenience is incredibly bad for all of us.
60M Years? They've been existing!! I feel humbled as a human being.
reported for bullying sloths
The sloth 🦥 smiling face is a treat for the eyes, sweet little species. Thanks to this dedicated group of people.
i love sloths, there is just something about them. probably the smile :-).
Wonderful animals and passionate researchers. Great reporting.
Sharyn is a riot! The sloths are adorable.

they are so cute hugging that stuffed sloth
Slow and awesome. The Ultimate Couch 🛋️ Potato 🥔. My kind of people.
I think sloths are pretty hard working little fellas. I think they move slow to make themselves harder to spot. They're stealthy rather than lazy.
Brilliant episode
Came over from JonTron slander 60 Minutes. To paraphrase a documentary, "The people behind 60 minutes are bafoons and sloths. Because you did 0 research."
this was not only great journalism it was FUN!!!
JonTron brought me here. Stop bullying sloths.
Sloths are not B-listers, put some respect on Sid's descendants (Yes, i just came from the JT video, no I will not elaborate)

What INFECTIOUS enthusiasm.

Nah. Devoid of the crutches of civilisation and technology humans are pretty active by default. During the ice age when food was at its most scarce humans were ranging around all year long just to keep fed.
I will not stand for Sloth slander.
My spirit animal.
I put them in the cute category. Beautiful creature and to be appreciated. Life is not all about the hustle and bustle. Slow down and enjoy life.
Sloths are super cool. Must be protected.
I ❤ soths
Merry Christmas everyone ⛄
I am 67. When I was 5 my grandpa gave me his precious taxidermied Three Toad 🦥 sloth. I shared it every year throughout Elementary School. Still have it.

Great info from a great video. Lucy is a great woman The world is a better place with her in it. Sincere thanks. A great 2024.🎉
Huge fan of this segment on sloths
“The richness of the universe” ❤ I love them. Thank you for this!
What a great story. Thank you!
They're not B list, they're not even S list; they deserve their own god tier ABOVE S!
1:29 I can watch her be that excited over and over again :-)
Just gave my new nephew in law a stuffed sloth with a red hoodie that says sloth mode. The family thought I shouldn't give to him but it was the only gift I gave him that he took home, left the rest🤣
I love love LOVE the look on Teddy's face after he realizes it was just Lucy making that noise. "DAMMIT LADY! Do you REALIZE how many leaves I'm gonna need to eat to replace the energy I just burned?!?"
Love these precious sweet little one's
Thank you so much for this information on sloths and climate change. I love sloths and almost every other animal, so it is disturbing to hear their predicament, but perhaps, as people realize what we’re doing to the other life on earth, they will work harder to fight climate change.

Interview with a sloth? "Sloth what do you have to say for yourself?"
Who doesn't love Sloths?❤
Beautiful!
Thanks for this lesson.
It’s impressive how docile and tolerant of handling these sloths are. Most animals would hiss aggressively or try desperately to get away

Justice for Sloths. End this Sloth slander.
Love those critters
I was troubled by your use of the word “explorers” to describe conquistadors. It literally means “conquerors” and their legacy is not one of exploration but of genocide.
Great show great guest keep it up sir they are listening thanks
I really liked this 60 Minutes: All about the sperm whale, monkeys, and the sloth. Really interesting 👍
Sloth sloth mo sloth.. Banana fana fo floth.. Me mi mo mloth.. Sloth!! 😊❤
@60minutes Suggestion for improvement: It would have been nice, if you had also shown the dark-skinned man, including his face, who helped climb barefoot to get the sloths from the ant-infested trees. I think it's a sign of respect to show all the helpers involved and at least briefly interview them. :-) Positive Feedback: Very interesting and informative documation. Thank you very much for your work.
I thought those were baby sloths not bats.
I wish the sloth was a zodiac sign lol
be nice to the sloths!

They're adorable 🥰🥰🥰
Either the Sloth having been around so long, proof it is okay to be one, or else I feel for them, iconic in the dregs of our adjectives. With the urRu, Mystics of the Dark Chrystal, will I associate them instead.
A half mile an hour is being extremely generous
what a beautiful story
1:10 “poisonous snakes”? Don’t you mean VENOMOUS? You would think a news source with an animal expert at their disposal wouldn’t get things so wrong..
4:18 That is not D sharp. That is A sharp (aka B flat).
out of all the things you could have made a hitpiece on, you choose sloths?
Hard hitting news we needed
