I received my pocket parang back in April and I have to say, it's one of my favorite knives in my vast personal collection. Ben and Lois are at the top of their game, producing some of the best built knives money can buy. I live in the United States, where we have some of the worlds most dense hard wood forests. Each time I go out for a day trip or for a three night stay, I make sure my Ben Orford pocket parang is attached to my belt. I've used it extensively, and it has performed flawlessly. I get stopped by people all the time asking if they could take a look at it, and I proudly honor their request. Those of you who live on the U.K. should count yourselves blessed to have so many first class knife makers. Thank you Ben and Lois for making my time in the forest even more enjoyable, and for producing one of the best cutting tools I've ever used. -All the best! Stephen, Ohio U.S.A.

Cool. Do you have any idea why the online vendors stopped shipping the locally made ones world wide? Can't seem to find them anywhere anymore ...

Well you will be pleased to hear we do. We offer all our tools and sheaths in left handed options. Having worked for years with a left hander struggling with tools and equipment we always wanted to make left handed versions available. You can select these on the store or if you need something specific let us know. Hope that helps many thanks cheers Ben

@@BenOrford Osiyo. (Hello, how are you in Cherokee.) I am a poor but proud Native American living in France, and have looked for training in you and your wife's disciplines, forging and leather making, without success. I will be 56 years old in two days (September 13th, 1967). I love your products but can not afford them. For the record, we grinded down cheap military knives and made them one-sided, cutting much sharper. And, in our culture it's NOT how much we can accumulate but rather how much we can give away that gives value to us in the eyes of others. Is it possible for you and your wife to use lesser materials at a more affordable price, which would allow me to buy something from you, in all confidence? I trust you and your instincts, but is your art ONLY destined for the rich? I beg you to allow me to become one of your faithful clients, not being able to buy first-choice material. Thank 🙏 you so much for your time. ❤️ (Wado, thank you in Cherokee)
