The planetarium show "From Earth to the Universe" v2

Ғылым және технология

From Earth to the Universe (now in v2, since 5.8.2016) is the world’s first full-length fulldome planetarium movie freely available for planetarium use. It is released here in high-resolution 4k fulldome format, for the worldwide planetarium community to download and use.
This stunning, 30-minute voyage through time and space conveys, through an arresting combination of sights and sounds, the Universe revealed to us by science. Read more about the movie here. The show was produced for the ESO Supernova Planetarium and Visitor Centre, to be opened in spring 2018, and for the worldwide planetarium community as free highres 4k download. The digital distribution was made possible through a partnership with CDN77.
We encourage the community to produce their own translations and narrations. The script and split audio files are supplied to the right. We welcome receiving copies of the translated scripts and audio files to share with the community.
Due to the large file size please use a download manager. Note the download advice here.

Is there some technical reason these videos are being presented in this "fish-eye" view? Just wondering...

These are made to be shown in a planetarium! That means the screen is a huge hemisphere above the viewers.

from Ptolemy to Copernicus? Is 800 years, no one has not studied the stars? من بطليموس إلى كوبرنيكوس؟ ومن 800 سنة، لا أحد لم تدرس النجوم؟

And if they are going to get all excited about greek astronomers, then why was there no mention of Hypatia of Alexandria? Also there are so many other cultures that use the stars to navigate, not just the most dominant ones. We got more than enough of them in school and mass media. Time for something new, small and unique.

There are two very simple methods of astronomy that definitively prove helocentricism. One is the use of geometry. If stars are suggested to be close and smaller than a majority claim then clearly geometry should prove it but it doesn't, it supports the fact that many stars are so far a way it is difficult to use geometry to determine their distance. The second factor is gravity. Some flat earthers claim gravity isn't real and that really we experience inertia force due to the flat earth moving perfectly perpendicular to the earth's ground. This is discounted using physics of inertia, once an object stops accelerating and maintains a constant velocity the effects of inertia cease. This means if you jumped into the air you should be able to float above the ground. The only way FEers can get out of this is by claiming the earth is in a constant acceleration rate of 9.8m/s^2 perpendicular to the ground. But this means over millions of years our velocity would be fucking huge. This is just a few examples of how science illiterate people make assumptions and believe things which are not the case.

The size of the universe is absolutely, well it can't be expressed, the best I can do it is, huge bigger then huge. If we look one way 13 billion light years. There is a galaxy that looks at us right now and sees a galaxy just forming. Past that is another galaxy 13 billion light years, and so on and so on all the way around the big bang. How big is the big bang, I don't know. That's my guess, or my theory.
