The pitch clock is needed but 15 seconds/20 seconds with someone on is a bit rushed, 20/25 would work much better.

Honestly I think one of the best ways to cut time is to cut relief pitcher warmup times on the mound. Those guys have been getting loose for damn near an hour,. why do they need an extra three minutes to warm up on the mound? Have em fire a couple in and start the damn game.

no commercial break, no warm up on the mound. When the reliever gets to the mound, the pitch clock instantly starts at 25 seconds for first the pitch. Then it goes to 15 seconds after that.

​@@SP.007 You won't get rid of commercials, not in this day and age. Too much money involved. I played baseball most of my life, and it's a struggle for me to actually sit through a baseball game on TV in general takes a good game/pitching match up to keep me interested. At least in person there's an atmosphere involved and you can watch everything that's going.

OT: IF the MLB went to an 8 man batting order (took out the DH), would it be better or worse for the game? The first 3 batters in your lineup are guaranteed a 4th at bat. What would you rather have, a DH get minimum 3 at bats, or your first 3 hitters getting a guaranteed 4th at bat.

The game is supposed to make you relaxed. We don’t need a clock to speed up OUR game. When you watch a baseball game you are supposed to eat popcorn, drink a coke or a beer, eat a hot dog, and relax.

What I find funny is that you probably saw the clip of the game from 1968 of there being just about 15 seconds between pitches and yet you still believe that the way the game is played now was the way it was meant to be played.

Yeah we need a pitch clock for fly balls too we can't have them up there too long that will destroy the game

Or how about if the shortstop doesn't throw the ball 1 second after he fields it the other team gets a run? It will speed up the game so why not
