I thought that was kind of shady tbh like what if it’s a look that can’t really be elevated anymore or it’s kind of tricky to elevate? I mean, it’s a great way to see who can step up to the challenge of revamping a look, but at the same time it can also set somebody up for potential failure.

My favorite drag family: Heidi, her grouchy aunt Trixie, and her grandmother Jaida.

I was not a fan of Silky on her season, but I’ll admit seeing her break down when she was walking away made me so sad. I honestly liked her a lot more on AS then Season 11. Though she annoyed me in her season I’d never go on her page and harass her, I felt bad for her.

I didn't love her for the first couple of episodes in season 11, and I do honestly think the way they editted the show was very calculated. I definitely started liking her way more towards the end of season 11 because we got to know her better.

The problem was she is very funny and talented but production egged her on and fed the beast so much that her ego became so massive that she was just obnoxious episode after episode. Which meant the fans got sick of her quickly and then ru kept saving her. I feel bad for her

Yeah I think everyone was referring to her personality and not her style.

I was so mad when Laganja wasn't in the cast but this lipsync made up for it. I hope now that she's openly living in her authentic skin that she will finally pass the psych eval and comes back for All Stars 7. Ru did say "Laganja come visit us again soon" or something along those lines

I could not agree more, this is the problem with the drag race fandom. Silky could’ve done so much more but she was too scared to make the fans angry again. I hope she gets more bookings and bigger shows because she has so much personality and talent that would be a waste not to showcase.

I deadass thought when Ru asked Silky to explain why she’s in her head so much this was finally gonna be the chance Ru addressed the toxic fandom and openly denounced any “fan” that takes time out of their day to bash a queen over a reality tv program filmed a year prior. But all she did was say “mhm. okay. 😐” I was so disappointed, but not surprised. I think it’s so easy for everyone to give the generic advice of “don’t listen to the haters.” etc, but Silky even said venues were trying to cancel on her due to the hate. At least Ru had the decency to look crushed when she was eliminated. 🙄

She's so talented and smart, and the idea that reputations can be done and undone that way besides the toxic fandoms really scared me for her, for them all. I wanted to hug her. Maybe an unpopular opinion but the same exact thing is going on with Kandy Muse now. Love or hate someone, there’s no need to drag them 24/7 until they end up like Silky
