I love barkeeper's friend. Been using it for decades. I bought a large container with a snap cap at a restaurant supply store, which is used for storing spices. I dump my BK container in that and ditch the can.

I love Bar Keeper's Friend cleaner. I use both the powder and the cook top cleaner and the results are outstanding. I also use the liquid cook top cleaner on my kitchen stainless steel sink. When I bought this home, the kitchen sink had that nasty hard water marks inside each basin. Ugh. I used the liquid cleaner on it and wow! It removed all the hard water crustiness and left the sink looking like new. I use it on the shower doors and around the bathroom faucet and sink to remove hard water spots. The stuff is fantastic. Anyone who hasn't tried Bar Keepers Friend needs to do it. And don't be afraid to use it on glass or ceramic basins. Just use the liquid style (not the powder). No scratches at all, just shine. I swear. Thanks for doing this review of the cleaners. I'm sticking with BKF 👍

I'm an addict, I use BKF for almost everything. Does a great job on the toliet rust build up. I used it to strip the rust off my metal kitchen cabinets with steel wool instead of a sanding disk drill, it did a great job and instead of polyeuthane, I used Zep metal cleaner/polish, which gives it a bit of waterproof and incredible shine.

Bar Keepers Friend is the best! Been using it for years.

I use an old tupperware lid to keep BKF from clumping. It is the large drinking glass lid.

I used to think there would be no diference between Ajax or Comet (Soft Scrub variety) and Bar Keepers Friend. Boy was I wrong! Bar Keepers Friend is far superior.

I’d have been shocked if anything was better than barkeepers friend. It’s the best 🙂

Thanks for this great video. I routinely use Bar Keepers Friend for my sink and I'm glad to see this comparison with the Pink Stuff which I have been wanting to try. I have never noticed an odor with Bar Keepers Friend and I think I'll just stick with it for all my tough cleaning. Thanks for your time commitment to help us all.

Bkf also works great on my tools in the garage. I had some spanners that I needed to save. They came up like new. Wasn’t a hard chore at all. Like both the liquid and the powder. If I need a paste, juste add a little water to the powder. Lovely stuff and versatile.

Great video i use Bar Keepers Works and your right the smells harsh also you need to wear gloves for sure with the bar keepers friend because it makes your hands burn and peel.

I did the same comparison. BKF worked best. The smell, I can’t tolerate. I have some mild COPD. The Lung Association really doesn’t want you to use anything for cleaning except vinegar. 😂 my mother used this my whole life!

Are you aware that BKF also has another cleanser that is specifically made for cleaning stainless steel? I have no idea what is different between that and the general BKF, but I've found that it works wonderfully. How about doing a comparison between regular BKF and BKF for SS?

I use Barkeepers Friend most of the time on my All Clad Stainless Steel. I prefer Bon Ami which was originally recommended by All-Clad. Some time ago, Bon Ami became difficult to find in stores. Once in a while it pops up. It just seems to make a better paste and seems to clean better. Could be all wet on that though.

One additional point for BKF- it is the best product to remove marks from silverware that accumulate on Fiestaware or other ceramics.

Funny, I already did my Pink vs Barkeepers Friend test about a month ago. I found that Barkeepers worked better for everything I tested. So that I’m not wasting the Pink, I decided to use it in the bathrooms until it’s gone. I won’t be purchasing again, though.

​@leemehan I have tried it its so good but try to use it with scrub daddy sponge, just wet the the sponge then squeeze it then take some of the scrub daddy with the sponge and do the cleaning, never over watering because you won't see any results.

What about steel glo (more commonly rebranded as kleen king now in powder form) when compared to barkeepers friend. My parents swear by it.

I believe BKF advise discourages waiting, just start cleaning as soon as applied

Barkeepers Friend comes in liquid and it is amazing. No messy powder.

Barkeeper's friend it great for stainless.

I bought Bar Keepers Friend,and could not use it. It was like a brick inside the container! Even took a long drill bit and tried to free the powder without luck.

Bar keeper's friend is supposed to be left on there for about 10 minutes, but this turned out fine.

BKF directions say to leave it stand for two minutes. I work it into paste. Lot less work this way.

How is Bar Keeper's Friend different from other cleaning powders like Ajax or Comet?

It has oxalic acid in it. It works well, but you don't want to let it set on a surface like you do ordinary cleaners, and it's best to wear latex gloves when using it.

BKF... Is the truth ... I'ma give TPS a run..

hasten nano bond professional grade is the best cookware cleaner. it'll remove the stain fast and easily.

Just use oven cleaner for the baked on residue. Neither one of those products is really designed for the use test you put them through.

Bar keepers is toxic while pink stuff is not.

Do you know if there is a difference between the original Barkeepers Friend Cleanser (in the gold colored can💛) and their newer product, Barkeeper’s Friend Cookware Cleanser & Polish (in a silver colored can🩶)? Some websites say the new product, BKF Cookware Cleanser & Polish , silver can, has more detergents and grease emulsifiers. Which to love??? 💛🩶🧽✅🧽✅🧽 🩶💛 Thanks for you upload. Good question. According to the Bar Keepers Friend website, “Bar Keepers Friend Cookware Cleanser contains extra active ingredients for cutting through grease.” I’ve used both and haven’t noticed a difference. barkeepersfriend.com/faq-bar-keepers-friend/
