I'm getting into photography as a hobby and you were one of my inspirations
I like this kind of videos. Instead of "promoting" yourself showing off your POV and your photos, you are investing your time giving us someone else's prospective of what photography means for them. Inspiring work. Thank you.

You should check out Walkie Talkie by Paulie B. It’s exactly this concept
I love Ulysses' work! Thank you for bringing him to our attention.
Ulysses is a really interesting and distinctive creator. Great that you have invited him onto this episode of your channel.
What a talent! I think that he purposely avoided talking about his gear. It's obviously the art side that matters to him. Thank you ever so much Roman!
Oh my god Ulysses is amazing! Glad to have witnessed this collab!
Such a lovely photographer and very talented too, thank you for the interesting video Roman with Ulysses
Really loving this format of interviews. It’s easy to “forget” there are real people behind their KZread/IG presence but these interviews have been insightful
Thank you for interviewing Ulysses! His content feels real. A lot of jittering in the video though, I hope Fuji fixes this!
Loving these interviews Roman! Keep up the great work! :)
Great interview , thanks for letting us participate
Love this series, great questions, great answers, great inspiration to keep on my photography journey
Love Ulysses' point of view on photography and art in general. And great video and topic Roman. This is a great watch to learn, to grow and appreciate photography.
Amazing video! Thank you!!!
Love Ulysses’ work - thanks for this insightful interview!
I’ve always loved Ulysses’s perspective, hearing about his love for oil painting makes so much sense because it comes thru in his photography. Many photographers shoot work that is in a popular narrative line that people want to see, and it kinda muddies the waters of whether it’s good work or whether you’re just interested in that style for the time being; but it’s always been clear that Ulysses’s work is good work regardless of the trends, and stands outside of them.
Beautiful work, great guy
Great insights by Ulysses. Roman, your interviewer questions are focused/sharp.
Another cracking interview video Roman. I really like to hear and see some of the current crop of brilliant photographers views and techniques. Really inspirational! Thanks.
Wow. Some of the best photography I've seen. Competitive with the best out there, eg. Harry Gruyaert, Alex Webb, etc.
Cool work and a cool guy ❤
Fantastic interview and very insightful responses from Ulysses.
Roman this content is so spot on, a great way to improve and create content in a meaningful way rather than the crazy amount of videos out there trying to present you a shortcut to become a sensation on social media. I think photographers are easily falling in the trap of creating content just for the sake of it, but this is a way to remember the beautiful and endless artistic side of the craft. Cheers from Argentina!
These interviews are fantastic! It's cool to hear different opinions and perspectives. Learning about the process of different photographers is valuable and is something that is easily applicable to ones own work.
Very, very well done interview! Thanks!
No link in bio to be found, but I found him, so thanks for sharing! Great artist.

Yeah I uploaded this at 1am after shooting for 12 hours haha. Updated now
What a find! What a kind, curious soul. Stunning photos. Immediately followed him. Thank you!
Thanks for an interesting video, with an intelligent and interesting young man. I really enjoyed and liked his images!❤
I discovered @UlyssesAokiPhoto when researching Ricoh GRiii vs Ricoh GRIIIX, great artist, but thank you Roman for this interview. I love it, btw, I've bought your portugal set since I'll be traveling there. Thank you for all your content!
Loving this series 👍👍👍
Great content thank you for sharing your experiences
Ulysses photos are really wonderful.
I really enjoyed this video. I was surprised to find how much my own photography and opinions align with that of Ulysses.
Just watched a video with Ulysses and Samuel Lintaro. And now something here. Nice
This gentlemen is a creative genius, fantastic shots, I love his style, will be sure to checks his work out!
I've been following you both for the longest time, such a great collab
Great interview! Thanks from Zürich, Switzerland 🇨🇭🙏🏼
I believe Ulysses is right about digital hitting the ceiling. Not much visibly can by improved by adding resolution for example. Computational photography might be next buzz word for few years. I suspect we will have more sells in photography gears. I would like to people to try pinhole photography. Thats totally new for todays people.

Yeah manufacturers are going to have to focus on improving the user experience instead of just bumping specs for every release
Ooh! One of my favorite youtographers interviewing one of my other favorite youtographers! Lucky me!
This was great Roman, Ulysses’ work is inspirational!👍🙏
Awesome!!
Bravo. I loved it.
Nice video Roman. What a nice guy, thanks for the introduction 👍
Nice video very inspirational although I’m moving away from digital photography and returning to my film roots it just goes to show a good image is a good image no matter how or what it was shot on. I have subscribed to your channel all the way from Northern Spain. Thanks!
His photos remembers me to the work of Saul Leiter.
Superb
4:40 sick frame
Ulysses make nice art
A very talented and interesting young man!
He’s a modern Saul Leiter 👏👏👏
Everyone has a camera that's true but everyone drives and not everyone is a Formula 1 driver
Loving your "The Photography of..." series. Random question, what brand are your glasses?

They're Moscot Lemtosh.

Randyw got it right. However I can't recommend them. It's the second pair. The first was replaced under warranty due to crazy corrosion. These are not even 10 months old and already corroded... if they were $10, fine. $300.... is a scam tbh

@@snapsbyfox Thank you for the mini review. I was thinking of getting a pair of Lemtosh eyeglass frames. Now reconsidering it.
First 😅 thanks 👍🏻
The way I see photography heading... 1. Horizontal photos are going to make a comeback (thanks to Apple, they are introducing a dedicated shutter button to their new phones) 2. Less edited photos more natural SOOC 2. Rise in Film photography or SOOC pictures (so other manufacturers will probably do things like Fujifilm, Panasonic has already started with their new Lumix S9) 5. Less bokeh because of smartphones, because of film, and because people just want more context to images and what is happening in the background. 6. Less "straight" or "perfectly aligned" photos and more natural with the expression of movement. (hopefully not too many Dutch angles / ) my 2cents and a bit
the image stabilization on the reordering is hurting my eyes and making me nauseous....

Yeah the DJI went nuts there... not sure why. Issue is you cant see it on the small screen till it's too late. Need to figure it out
I think Jessica has forgotten what its like when you're at the beginning of your photography journey. You literally take pictures of everything and anything, because you love the art. Just because someone has been brought up in a different world doesn't give you the right to criticise. I think someone is struggling for ideas for content.
