I hope you do more in the series on other photographers, Roman. You do such a good job of letting them speak, and show their process and artistic sensibility. Less about the gear, more about the art.

Totally agree. You ask good questions then let them share. Love Mark's stuff.

I like these too but I was wondering what lens he used since I saw his photos with complete different fields of view and he's "travelling light" (I might have missed the mention on the video) and had to freeze the image and take a photograph of the monitor to understand that he is carrying a zoom. An 18-55 f/2.8-4 which made a lot of sense.
I took Mark’s workshop last year. I flew from the midwest of USA and I can absolutely say it was worth it. He helped me to see in a different way and there is nothing more valuable as a photographer than how you ‘see’. His work is genius.
I love Mark's work, his style is so consistent and always beautifully realised. He has a strong vision and uses it brilliantly.
Asking questions which the general public would ask (despite being ones you already know the answer to) is exactly the empathy required of an excellent presenter. Thank you.
I love these walking interviews. So much more entertaining than talking heads in a studio.
Really enjoyed your interview and walk about with Mark. I attended one of Marks London workshops and I can’t recommend it enough.
I could look at Mark's images for hours at a time and never get bored. Brilliant photographer
Thanks a lot Roman it was a fun day! Also thanks for all the kind comments ✌️🖤
This series is a breath of fresh air Roman. Thanks for introducing Mark here. Light+composition+story+patients = Brillant
What a character! Patience, enjoyment, creativity, light, lines and composition his secrets to success! Massive thank you for yet another awesome video!
I would absolutely love to see how these RAWs are turned into the final product. The end images are absolutely gorgeous! I am really loving this series Roman. I would have never found Mark’s images without this series and I love them!
I've been following Mark in IG for a while now. It was really interesting to hear him tell his story. I'm really enjoying these "interview vlogs". I think it brings another dimension into understanding each artists work. Thanks again for bringing these photographers to us up close and personal. Have a great week!

can we stop and appreciate that all of these amazing shots he took, he took with the 18-55 kit lens?

@@dentReviewsYes! And, looks like an X-T3. That is my combo as well. I use my 18-55 like a prime. Set it to one focal length and leave it there for a while. It really is a good lens. And, I really love my X-T3. It's way more than enough camera for me.
Wow I love Marks work too...I personally don't like street photography that uses people and their expressions.....I like geometry/architecture/colour/contrasty B&W and sometimes a human element that creates interest and scale....thats why you,James, Mark and Alan Schaller are my favourite photographers...Love this series Roman please keep on going.
Simply put Mark fearnly is THE master of fine Art photography.
Great video on composition. Enjoy how you get other photographers to talk about their creative process .❤
I spent a one-on-one day with Mark earlier this year. Taught me how he sees... an invaluable skill set to digest and apply to whatever photo style you shoot. This video shared a lot of what he has to offer.
Please continue with this outstanding format sharing other photographers with the community.
I am an admirer of Mark Fearnley's style, so this video proved to be really enjoyable and instructive - thanks Roman.

Thanks 🙏
As someone new to photography, these videos with other photographers are extremely interesting
As a wedding photographer for the last 12 years, I totally agree with your conceptualization of the creative phases.
Big fan of Mark here and it was such a pleasant surprise to see him featured on your channel ! Been saving up to be able attend one of his workshops in London ! 2024 hopefully
You’re gifted to become a host of talk show or something like that…. You can dig up information and let them speak… well done 👍
Definitely want more of these, similar to walkie talkies but closer to home and more relatable.
Loved this video. Did a workshop with Mark a couple of years ago. Most instructive and enjoyable.
I love it when you see someone lining up a shot (as in at the five minute mark on this one), and you think 'Really? What are you going to do with this shot?'. Then you see the image and you realise why they are them - and you are not :-) This is such a great video. And modern rock stars please note - THIS is what you are supposed to look like!
For me he has to be in my top five of street photographers. I cannot think of an image I don’t like that he has taken. 👍🏻
Mark is a lovely fella and a great photographer. Great video as always Roman
Great video and another great one in the series. Please keep them coming.
Thanks Roman for your nice videos . I wish you a Merry Christmas and good 2024, Greetings from the Netherlands! 🌷❤️🌷
Great episode Roman, thanks for doing a vlog with Mark. Mark is a legend.....The Master. 👌
Thanks for this new video format. I like it a lot! And one can learn a lot!
Great piece. Look forwards to more content.
Great job Roman! Mark is a legend and it was so cool to hear him candidly discus his roots, passion and techniques.
Very fun to watch. I loved the location, makes me wish I'd have taken my camera out when I was there!
Love Marks' down to earth and simplistic approaches. Can see the influence of Fan Ho in his images.
Love Mark's work. I have done a workshop in London and Berlin. He is a great guy and I highly recommend his workshops.
I’d not heard of Mark prior to watching this. But I’m an instant fan. Love his work shown here and now a follower of his. Great video this.
Another great walk & talk, loved this. Mark’s work is an inspiration, he is a master of black & white
Amazing video Roman can't wate to see how you will have next 👏👏👏
This really presses my buttons
Mark’s beautiful work is right up my street, this interview series is excellent and I am really enjoying them.
Gorgeous work! Very inspiring and useful.
Great video, Roman. Like this format a lot.
Mark Fearnley is one of my favourite photographers. I love the architectural and geometrical elements in his photos. I hope to find the time to attend one of his workshops in London.
Great video. Loved Mark's work.
Mark is an incredible talent, his images are truly on another level! Brilliant video, loving this new format and series! 🔥👏🔥
Terrific interview and fantastic photography by Mark. Thank you for sharing his work, Roman!
Roman this is by far the best Street Photography tutorial I have watched. Thank you
I’m a new follower of Mark in IG. I love his photos!
Nice to hear an accomplished photographer talk about the artistic side, demonstrating it's more about in tune with the surrounds that truly matters.
Glorious. Mark’s work is truly beautiful and, may I say, inspirational. I’m an ‘old’ fella of 66 years old (apparently) and I can feel the creative energy wanting to flow with a Fuji camera that I’m still getting to grips with. I get good feedback from my iPhone photography and a few of the Fuji photos I’ve put out locally. Watching this just fills me with joy and hope.
Great video Roman, made me chuckle in awe of how amazing photos came from such crowded, chaotic places. Really good questions, great interview.
Mark is a legend …. Did his workshop and would 100% recommend it …. And what’s more he’s a really nice fella too! 😊
honestly, I didn't know much about Mark before watching this video, but in less than 20 minutes, he became one of my favorites. Great video, awesome photos.
Mark is awesome. He's the kind of guy you have a pint with and listen to his stories.
He’s outstanding
These vidoes are excellent and very imformative. Please keep making them
I'm going to do a Workshop with Mark in Berlin beginning of next year and really forward to it! :)
Very inspiring, I wanted to leave immediately to do a photo shoot!
Great to see how mark goes about his work, great video sean tucker next 😊
Yes! Great Video! Thanks!
Great Photographic concept: Light, composition (geometry), human element (patience).
Brilliant video and valuable insights to some beautifull images
I love this guy - No Bull Shit
Roman, this was Phenomenal, Mark's work is mouthwatering (for want of a better expression). I'm inspired. Gotta get out. Cheers and all the best for the New year.
So many valuable nuggets of information here for photographers of all skill and experience levels. Mark’s point about there being three key parts of any quality photo was spot-on. If you don’t have a healthy balance of quality light, a key moment or snapshot in time, and an interesting composition (in this case, using multiple textures to subdivide the frame) you’re very likely not making work that evokes emotions.
Blown away again. Learned so much about photography. And even learned something about myself. He more or less answered a question I had about my photography. I like to shoot very dark, underexposed, black and white photographs. Now I have an idea why. Can’t thank you enough for that fantastic video.
This series is a superb idea. As a street photographer myself, I find that knowing the mindset and approach of other photographers to be fascinating. Mark's work is outstanding.
This series is 🔥…like him, I too enjoy finding lines and using architecture in my “street photography”. I’ll definitely be following him, his photos on IG are inspiring
Great inspiration here! Thank you for this.
Perfect video. Photographer express their views and well shown. BRAVO!
LOVE this format! Please make more, it's both fun and educational to follow along with a different style than your own. Great stuff, Roman!
Loved the video with James Popsys. So nice you are doing something similar again. Love the photos on this trip, especially in black and white.
Very good and simple advice from Mark is "You can always find it". I think that's really powerful and true. You just have to be patient.
Hey Roman...I am loving this series! As someone who is just returning to photography and venturing into street for the first time, this is hugely helpful! Please continue to do more. I think your channel is great all round. Your analogies are spot on and your philosophies are really inspiring. Thnak you!
Another great interview
Exactly why I am a Photographer, the ability to create. Nice interview.
Top bloke and a great photographer too in his chosen style .
Terrific video. Loved how Mark concentrates on simplicity, including B/W photos.
Amazing pictures!
By far your best guest!
Great upload Roman. I do like this style of video. Mark's work is both appealing and inspirational.
Beautiful work! Thanks for sharing! Subscribed. Happy Holidays! 🎄
Excellent video! I normally don't care for b&w photos, but Mark's are so compelling - so much to look at.
Another really great video Roman! And Mark is such a inspiration! You have a tough job to keep up this high standard of guests in the serie😊
Brilliant, Roman. It all flowed together so naturally, the questions were relaxed and not intrusive, you knew just what to ask, and there was no hiccuping from topic to topic. So much more engaging than the interview with James. And what a talent Mark is - I watched with my jaw on the ground. Thank you!
excellent episode... thank you
Great Format! Thanks Roman 👍
Really great watch. Thanks to you and Mark for sharing.
Love this series, can’t wait for more!
Terrific video Roman. Thank you Mark.
