The bus from del Norte to Teotihuacan (and back) runs every 15 minutes - much cheaper and more convenient than uber! And the restaurants outside the site are pretty darned good. You should try them (not just La Gruta).
Dude, you're leaving a paradise 💔

Super fed video.... Jeg lærer meget ved at kikke med, er det muligt at sætte data ind i dine fotos du viser??? shutter, blænde og iso måske...
Very good video, Frederick! pls check your gear links, btw.
I agree that shooting at night is risky anywhere you go, if I know that I’ll be walking around some sketchy areas then I ask a friend if they’d like to go. It’s more fun too, plus you don’t have to look over your shoulder every time you find yourself staring into the viewfinder for 10 minutes at a time

You should definitely come to patzcuaro michoacan Mexico. Most people are friendly and they love when you take pics to promote their magic town or pueblo magico

8:21 Ese señor tenía algún tipo de autoridad? Lo dudo. Que mal que pasaste por esa experiencia. Y que buenas fotografías tomaste.
Hey Frederik, started watching this video recommended by YT & you’re definitely a talented photographer so kudos on that. But I don’t particularly appreciate the language that you use... “if you want to go to something more Mexican” go to the historic center…Listen, Roma and Condesa are beautiful areas and they’re just as Mexican as Centro. . Who do you think created the cafes, restaurants, beautiful street art & gorgeous parks in Roma, Condesa, Polanco, etc? Mexicans. Be very careful with your language because it borders on Eurocentric & racist. . Centro is more historic and much older it was were the Aztecs literally had pyramids...it’s also huge and super dense. So yeah I wouldn’t recommend roaming the streets after dark, being a typical tourist, taking a bunch of random pictures-but I wouldn’t do that in parts of London or Madrid either (I lived in London). I’ve lived in Mexico City & spent a lot of time in centro. My iPhone was never stolen... but I was pickpocketed & had my iPhone stolen in Barcelona...
Mexico City is one of my favourite places to visit. I always tell people that it is the most "alive" place I have ever been. Nice video. Have travelled in many other cities and towns as well. Great bus service in Mexico.

I agree! Mexico City is really something special!
Esta bueno, tengo con mucho gusto. Be careful not to let those Chilangos eat you alive. You won't be the first Güero to vanish there. ;o)
13:07 Day of T (sis) ☕️
Im from Mexico City but I live in Europe and I don’t have the balls to take out my big cameras when I visit home lol
that guy who said you can't record with your camera looked sketchy so probably he and his friends where up to something, it is not illegal to take videos on the streets since its a public space it is illegal doing it inside of some buildings. He sound like a "ñero" (mexican ghetto type) I'm Mexican so i can tell for his accent.
Know the language, keep your gear to a minimum, travel with a friend, be aware of your surroundings especially at night

That helps!
what to avoid? in mexico? hmmm. Maybe who has their hands over the actual place/area in general. If you get checked out with a good camera you are wearing...
No es Gavacho es de Dinamarca, LOL!
Those places are the 5% of whole Mexico City.
So, thousands of years of amalgamated American and European traditions got erased, and 'created', after the infamous James Bond Movie (never seen)? I guess I should start going back to the memory files of my years traveling in Mexico and erase all the wonderful passages that contain anything about 'The Day of the Dead' because they were lived before the Movie James Bond was filmed in Mexico..... I don't understand this popular narrative. I guess since Hollywood is the current 'Genesis' of humanity, I should start watching more movies, and TV Shows, and ignore history books and traditions seen and experienced. Welcome to 21st Century. Cheers

Salud
Palanco is not safe. And also people doesn't allow you to take photos.
