I LOVE your content. You’re literally an inspiration and a literal definition to the word “travel”. You are the richest people I’ve ever seen (I wish I knew personally). I keep telling my friends and family about your channel and I swear to the honest God Jesus, I tell them “this is exactly how I would travel when I hit the lotto” You guys are so blessed that you are doing this when you’re young, cause when u get a few more years under your belt, you have major hesitations and mental road blocks that seem immovable at times. Those mountains have an spirit inside. Incas knew that ans saw the world as "Cosmovision Inca" . I am totally sure that you felt the power and spirit of those mountains and deserts. Pink lakes are often caused by a combination of salt-tolerant algae and bacteria that produce pigments. The algae, such as Dunaliella salina, produce carotenoids to protect themselves from UV rays in the salty environment. The bacteria, called halobacteria, use a protein called bacteriorhodopsin to absorb energy from the sun, which gives them a rosy pigmentation. The less water a lake has, the more concentrated the salt becomes, and the brighter the pink color.

Wow this one blew my socks off! Ya'll, this was on my bucket list of places to travel to! The scenery was magical and holy wow do I want to see it first hand even more. The highway ya'll traveled on was very daunting for this wheelchair bound old lady. Life happens, things change in the blink of an eye and your whole world changes. Everything you counted on doing has to be put on hold for a massive change, but I made myself a promise to go far and above what the doctors expect from me. I WILL get back on the road, but I'm going to stay stateside until I'm comfortable with the, hopefully insurance approved, artificial leg. I'm so happy ya'll did this video. The million dollar views are spectacular! Looks like sliding the dunes might just be the icing on the cake, that looked like so much fun. Who says you cant have fun like that at 63! The villages looked like the best way to experience the culture. I have to say i was surprised by the amount of trash even way out in the middle of no where. Peru is a treasure and tourism could be much better without all the trash, even way up in the mountains. Your first night camping showed how much the people could change their environment just by being careful with the trash. I hope to one day get the all clear from my cardiologist to be able to go up higher than 1,000 ft, but that mat never happen and thats ok because there are so many things to see in the USA that it might be a while before i see real mountains, lol. Ya'll be safe, happy trails and safe travels out there!

OMG! You're killing me. Back in the 90's I got a '77 Chinook (only just factory 20R and specs), but I rebuilt the coach and lived in it for 3 plus years. I traveled all over North America, BC, Alberta, etc. But your camera and drone footage of this most astounding country and adventure of Peru is pretty much second to none. Thankyou, I almost feel inspired to try something on a smaller scale, and even at my quickly aging paradigm. All the blessings LOVE and safety that God, fate and man can afford you as you continue...🥰

Awesome place and video. The pink lake is lake Titicaca ,and there is others. It's caused by red sandstone full of iron oxide.

some place look like a Canada like a the turquoise Lake beautiful

May be you already known this 1:17:13 , but the pink / bubble gum lake is from single-celled halobacteria photosynthesis in very salty water. You can see the same thing in Utah’s Salt Flat or Potash location

Great video. A suggestion: Plz keep the music and commentary volume levels in sync. The commentary is a bit subdued, so we have to raise the volume when listening to it and then the music is overly loud, so we have to keep juggling the volume.

Am puzzled as to how you get those drone shots of yourselves when you don't appear to have a controller in your hand. Am also interested in how your Toyota performs at such high altitude when there is not much air for it to breath. I know petrol engines suffer but i dont know if Diesels have the same problem.
