My brother and I rode dirt bikes growing up, we did tandem jumps together and all the crazy stuff. Glad neither of us thought about flipping one, 64 yo and I still get amped watching NC performances!! Great job Trav and the rest of the Circus!!!!

I gotta say it after years, use to ride around a crazy group of elders as a 14 yr old kid, 2014, in a small bmx community that isn't ever seen on the Western Hemisphere. A bunch of Aussies Canadians, Ukrainians and possibly some Russians too and an American have all rode and done shows out in a secret park in Shenzhen, China located inside an amusement park in called Happy Valley is an old X-Games park which host live shows and contracts performers primarily bmx bikers, an American Rollerblader who moved back after a decade performing some scooters get thrown in but they do daily shows and I may still have contact info of their manager who signed them for shows but they were doing Nitro Circus tricks in 2013-2014 I saw double back flip tails, double flairs, massive height double frontflips a couple times no handed. These guys were killer don't know who still performs now but it was a killer gig with some set backs on the work contract. I may be able to also find old footage I use to take of them and there's only 2 bmx shops in Shenzhen that they could go too back in the day. But might be worth looking for their talent too they were pushing boundaries back in the day and i think that park was open to performers for 15 to 20 years. They were possibly connected to Asian X-Games too since there was a WeChat group promoting X-Games sponsored or styled street events around China. But for riders to get paid to just do 2 or 3 10 minute shows a day to show off the sheer talent in extreme sports it was mesmerizing to say the least and this is coming from a Tampa, FL native who's seen plenty of insane talent since the early 2000s come and go through SPoT.

** It is now hard for me to believe that my 1977 $19 Woolco Huffy held up to the continual abuse jumping 4'x8'x3/4" plywood straight vanilla jumps I used to make when I was 11 living in Bowie MD ... I survived some real bad landings and who would of ever thought this is what I really had in mind just a county away !! sheeeeeeeesh GOD Bless

I know for a fact that I could do a barrel roll. No one whips it like me. I could easily tell y’all how to do it. It’s all in leaning the opposite direction of the whip then seat bounce to yakking the crap out of it. It’s all in the head movement.

Tony has been shredding for over 4 decades in the California sun and is finally starting to show his age at 53. He is 'The One' who changed skating forever and pushed it into the mainstream of action sports. Not to mention his incredible interaction with the community. Tony Hawk is as spry as ever.
