Very Intriguing movie: keep your personal life away from other so called friends ir new acquaintances and never cower to an abusive husband....a real life story.

I WILL NOT LONGER...THE FILM IS EXCELLENT, THE MOTIVE, THE PLOT, IN GENERAL THE MAIN ROLES BOTH ACTRESSES DID A REALLY GREAT JOB, EACH IN THEIR OWN WAY!!RECOMMENDATION TO WATCH THE MOVIE!!! GREETINGS TO EVERYONE FROM ZAGREB, CROATIA!!🌬️🌀🌌🙏

A gripping movie that keeps one on tenterhooks . .Suspension till the end .Thank God justice was done for Sarah .A miraculous escape from a crazy woman.. Those who like true detective movies would enjoy watching this one .🥀

What I'd learned along the way: If one really intends to leave, do NOT warn the abusive, adulterous spouse beforehand, since this will cause the abuse to escalate. Whenever a child is involved, it really is very difficult - if not impossible - to win sole custody if the abusive partner is financially well-off.

Yes, maintaining proper boundaries is so important; including not extending or accepting help when not really needed. Be careful of someone who appears kind and considerate, and who keeps on showing up - time and again: Stalkers are not always strangers.

Sadly one cannot really know the true nature and intent of another. Only God knows for what purpose someone - appearing to be friendly - is really befriending one.

Those are the bitter words of someone who trusted the wrong person. Personally I'd be looking at what red flag I missed & learn rather than cut off the potential benefits of friends.

The film is 👍 and sad at the same time it's a lesson how life is and will always have no balance so whatever u get just appreciate and don't ask for more

I checked. It's not true story. If it was she would have killed Sarah and her daughter to revenge.

If her husband were not dead, he would have her oppressed and humiliated. He started to beat her and threatened her. Nobody including her publisher was interested in her poetry. Wonder what would have become of her...

Cassie Scerbo played a baddie in this movie. She was so good in Make It or Break It.

Hei, this was a brilliant movie. I really enjoyed the breathtaking journey through the story... always top and i was really frightened about the ending. Horrific, that it was based on true events...

Main plot defect: She could have called the police on Lee when Crawford went missing. Lawyers are important to have but not when they really do facilitate making you look more guilty. It was the job of the police to search Lee's place. Also, you'd tell your child to never trust Auntie Lee again. Stupid that she didn't do that

Just google " why so many child stars develop PTSD" You have been ignorant about this issue and you have no idea that children brains are still developing and what they go through, shapes them for the rest of their lives! I would not expect you to know this, so you're all forgiven. Even adult actors suffer after filming very mentally taxing films and often have to see a psychiatrist. I don't know why I even bother commenting on this here. There's plenty of research available and having worked at a theatre I know all well about us trying to protect children from stress of taking on a role, is often futile.
